We would like to honor our veterans by flying a flag in their honor or their memory on our
flagpole. If you have an American flag at home that you would like to lend to the parish in memory of or in honor of a loved one, please bring it to the rectory. We will fly it for one month and then return the flag to you. The name of your loved one will appear in the bulletin for the month his or her flag is dis-played.
BLOOD DRIVE - AUGUST 13 IN THE SCHOOL GYM
In an effort to help ease the shortage of blood, we will be hosting a blood drive on August 13 from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM in the
school gym.
All donors will get two tickets to a NY Mets game for their very generous donation.
• The NY area is experiencing an emergency blood shortage with only a 2 day sup-ply of O- blood.
• All of the blood donated will stay right here in the New York area and possibly save someone you know.
• Donated blood will save up to three people’s lives. • Must be at least 16 years old, weight 110 lbs, feel well the day of the drive and
have one form of identification. If you want to help save lives. please come down to the drive.
