ALL SAINTS AND ALL SOULS The month of November helps us to meditate on the gift of life and holiness. The Solemnity of

All Saints that we just celebrated on November 1st is a glimpse of those who are recognized by the Church. In remember-ing all the saints in a single feast is a reminder of our own baptismal call holiness. Kindly, keep in mind that we Catholic do not adore statues. We adore the Blessed Trinity. As creatures, we acknowledge that God is our creator. On the other hand, veneration is a deep respect and reverence. We pay respectful veneration to sacred images as a reminder of the per-son portrayed in it. The day after All Saints, we had the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. A priest friend of mine said to me this quote and I share it with you: "Memory is a powerful tool to use in your own grief process and your journey back to life. You may want to stop and remember the special people in your life who have died. Re-member a smile or the sound of laughter. Think of the things you enjoyed doing together and the meaningful times you shared with that person…" During the month of November, I highly recommend you to pray the rosary for those who have died, all those who had walked with us in this life, particularly, those who no one pray for them. Finally, I want to express my gratitude to those who were involved in our Ministry Fair. It was a lot of fun, and we had a wonderful respond. As Corpus Christi, we have received a im-portant mission: To be a welcoming community where we praise the Lord and build the King-dom of God here and now. You are a important part of this mission. Thank you for being Cor-pus Christi in a concrete way.

TODOS LOS SANTOS Y LOS FIELES DIFUNTOS El mes de noviembre nos ayuda a meditar sobre el don de la vida y la santidad. La Solemnidad de Todos Los Santos que acabamos de celebrar el 1 de noviembre es un vistazo a aquellos que han sido

reconocidos por la Iglesia. Recordar a todos los santos en una sola fiesta es un recordatorio de nuestra propia llamada santidad. Por favor, tengamos en cuenta que nosotros los católicos no ado-ramos las imágenes. Nosotros adoramos solo a la Santísima Trinidad. Como criaturas, reconoce-mos que Dios es nuestro creador. Por otro lado, la veneración es un profundo respeto y reverencia. Prestamos veneración respetuosa a las imágenes sagradas como un recordatorio de la persona re-tratada en ella. El día después de Todos los santos, tuvimos La Conme-moración de Todos Los Fieles Difuntos. Un sacerdote, amigo mío, me dijo esta cita y la comparto con usted: "La

memoria es una herramienta poderosa para usar en nuestro propio proceso de duelo y en su viaje de regreso a la vida. Si lo desea, puede detenerse y recordar a las personas especiales en su vida. quiénes han muerto. Recuerda una sonrisa o el sonido de la risa. Piensa en las cosas que disfrutaste haciendo juntos y los momentos significativos que compartiste con esa persona ... " Durante el mes de noviembre, recomiendo encarecidamente que recen el rosario por los que han fallecido, todos los que nos acompañaron en esta vida, en parti-

cular, los que nadie reza por ellos. Finalmente, quiero expresar mi gratitud a quienes participaron en la Feria de Ministerios. Fue muy divertido, y tuvimos una respuesta maravillosa. Como Corpus Christi, hemos recibido una importante misión: ser una comunidad acogedora donde alabamos al Señor y construimos el Reino de Dios aquí y ahora. Cada uno de ustedes es una parte importante de esta misión. Gracias por ser Corpus Christi de manera concreta.
