She was born October 21,1929, in Hamlet, Indiana, to the lateRoy and Edna (Hardesty) Shankland.On September 28, 1946, in Nappanee,Indiana, she married James Minker.He died in 1978.
Anna Mae was retired from Oregon-Davis Schools, after 32 years as ateacher’s aide. She was a member ofthe Hamlet United Methodist Church,the Red Hat Society and she present-ed scholarships for the Starke CountyScholarship Foundation.
She is survived by one son, Richard(Marlene) Minker of Hamlet, twodaughters: Catherine (Wayne) Jensenof Kimmell, Indiana and Carol (Steve)Moerlien of South Bend, Indiana, sixgrandchildren and five great grandchil-dren. She was preceded in death bytwo brothers and seven sisters.
Services were held Thursday,January 17, at Rannells FuneralHome, with Pastor Pam Pask officiat-ing. Burial was in the FletcherCemetery, Hamlet. Memorial contribu-tions may be given to the Center forHospice, the Hamlet United MethodistChurch or the Starke CountyScholarship Fund.

Scotthad worked as a Deputy for the PulaskiCounty Sheriff’s Department and as anEMT for Pulaski County EMS. He hadalso worked with his dad at MedaryvilleHardware. He enjoyed serving othersand was an avid IU basketball fan.
He is survived by his mother, ElviraGutwein Lamp of Francesville, hisfather, Ralph Shidler of Medaryvilleand three brothers: Michael Shidler ofHouston, Texas, Bryan (Karen) Lampof Tomahawk, Wisconsin and Michael(Jennifer Wells) Lamp of Wheatfield,Indiana. He was preceded in death byhis step father, Richard Lamp.
Services were held Tuesday, January22, at Frain Mortuary Querry-UlbrichtChapel, with Pastor Dennis Gutweinofficiating. Burial in the Buck Cemetery,Thornhope, Indiana will take place at alater date. Lowell was a longtime member of theMonterey United Methodist Churchand a lifelong dairy farmer. He enjoyedthe outdoors, especially farming, gar-dening and caring for farm animals.

Mollie was a 1959 graduate of KnoxHigh School and had retired fromRexam, Valparaiso, Indiana, in 2002.She loved pictures and doing genealo-gy.
She is survived by two sisters: NancyBack and Karen Keehn and four broth-ers: Glenn (Bev) Wallace, Bill (Ivly)Wallace, Kenny (Cindy) Wallace, all ofKnox and Dennis Wallace of Hamlet,Indiana. She was preceded in death bytwo sisters: her twin, Darlene Wallaceand Linda Holbrook and two brothers:Dean and Dale Wallace.
Visitation from 3-7pm CT, Tuesday,January 22, at M.C. Smith FuneralHome. Services will be Wednesday,January 23, at 11am CT, at OurRedeemer Lutheran Church, with visi-tation one hour prior to services at thechurch. Burial will be in the Oak GroveCemetery, LaCrosse, Indiana.

MONTICELLO, IN - FORMERLY OFMONON, IN - Harlen E. “Harley”Tomlinson, 82, died Sunday, January20, 2019, at Monticello Health Care,Monticello, Indiana. He was bornFebruary 5, 1936, in Logansport,Indiana, to the late George and Loda(Sherman) Tomlinson. On August 5,1963, in Winamac, Indiana, he marriedPhyllis Fritz.
Harley was a 1954 graduate ofPulaski High School and Liberty BibleCollege. He was a veteran of the USMarine Corps, having served during theKorean War. He was a retired truckdriver and a member of the TeamstersUnion and a lifetime member of theAmerican Legion. Harley attended Tri-County Bible Church, Remington,Indiana. He enjoyed woodworking, fish-ing, working in his yard and spendingtime with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, oneson, Harlen Ray (Amber) Tomlinson ofRensselaer, Indiana, one daughter, Lori(Thomas) Harper of New Castle,Indiana, four grandchildren, two stepgrandsons, four great grandchildrenand one sister. She was preceded indeath by one sister, Bonnie Connelland two brothers: Harold and HowardTomlinson.
Memorial services will be held at11am EST, Wednesday, January 23, atFrain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel,with visitation one hour prior.Entombment will be held at a later datein Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.Memorial contributions may be given tothe Dementia Society of America.
