The Florida legislature bought the land around the north shore of Lake Apopka and closed the major farms, resulting in the loss of 2,000 agricultural jobs. Under the guidance of Crealdé documentary photographers Faith Amon and Peter Schreyer, youths from farmworker families were trained in the skills of documentary photography and captured the historic last sea-son of muck farming in Central Florida.
