DAY 1 – Depart the USA Today you’ll depart the USA on an overnightflight to Dubrovnik, Croatia.

DAY 2 – Dubrovnik, CroatiaUpon arrival in Dubrovnik, transfer to yourhotel. The afternoon is yours to relax or ex-plore the city on your own. Tonight you’llenjoy a Welcome Dinner at the hotel. Meal: D

DAY 3 – Embarkation of your river shipFollowing breakfast at your hotel, transfer toGruz Harbor where your ship, the MVKarizma, awaits. This afternoon, relax on-board as you become acquainted with theship and crew. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Re-ception and dinner onboard. Meals: B, D

DAY 4 – Dubrovnik and Mljet National ParkBefore the ship sails, depart on a walking tourof Dubrovnik, known at the ‘Pearl of theAdriatic.’ During the guided excursion, tourRector's Palace and the pharmacy of theFranciscan Monastery.

Sailing from Dubrovnik, lunch is served on-board as you make your way to the AdriaticIsland of Mljet. On your guided visit of theMljet National Park, learn about the fivetypes of forests, the island's geological struc-ture consisting of limestone and dolomiteforming ridges, crests and slopes and themany species of birds and eagles’ nests. Manytales involve the island of Mljet, one of whichsays it was the favorite holiday destination ofthe Greek hero Ulysses! Meals: B, L, D

DAY 5 – PuciscaThis morning is spent leisurely sailing alongthe river and enjoying the remarkable viewsof the Dalmatian Coast. Following lunch on-board, arrive in the beautiful small town ofPucisca. With a population of 2,200, thetown arose from stone in a deep cover on thenorth island of Brac. Known for is culture ofstone masonry, the nicely built stone houseswith paved white roofs give Pucisca itscharm. Take a swim in the beautiful blue wa-ters of one of the bays near this quaint town.Meals: B, L, D

DAY 6 – Omis / SplitThe picturesque, ancient town of Omis issurrounded by small fishing villages withbeautiful beaches. During an included walk-ing tour, stroll through the town that is asilent stone reminder of the power andmight of the infamous pirates whose shipswere a symbol of retaliation, courage andstrength. The day continues as you boardsmall boats that take you into the magnifi-cent Cetina River Canyon, a protected na-ture area. Sail upriver to Radman Millswhere you are treated to a tasting of a localspecialty before returning to the ship inOmis. This afternoon, arrive in Split, thelargest Dalmatian city and second largestcity of Croatia. Your guided visit will in-clude the seafront promenade and theRoman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, with itsancient columns and Roman belfries. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 7 – Bol, The Golden Horn / HvarThis morning your ship arrives in Bol,

known for the best beach in Croatia - theGolden Horn. You’ll have free time to swimand enjoy this beautiful beach. This after-noon your ship sails on to Hvar, known as‘the Croatian Maderia’, and is one of thelongest islands stretching along the shoresof Croatia. On the included walking touryou’ll see the first public theater in Europe(older than Shakespeare’s theater in theUK), the Franciscan Monastery and otherhistoric sights. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 8 – KorculaSail to Korcula, the acclaimed birthplace ofthe famous explorer, Marco Polo. As youstroll through its narrow, cobbled streets onthe included walking tour, immerse yourselfin Korcula’s picturesque town and discoveradorned palaces and elegant houses includ-ing the majestic Cathedral of St. Mark.Meals: B, L, D

DAY 9 –Winery Visit / Return to Dubrovnik Enjoy a pleasant trip along the shores of theMljet Island with a visit to Grgich Hills Win-ery, owned by the famous American wineproducer in Trstenik, for a tasting.
