    SELF-SCORING AND ASSESSMENT DIRECTIONS

To parallel the content of an actual CSCSexam, the Practice Exam questions arebased on the six major knowledge areasor domains that form the subject matter ofthe two primary CSCS exam preparationreferences: the Essentials of StrengthTraining and Conditioning text (secondedition) and the CSCS ExaminationContent Description booklet.Additionally, the Practice Exam questionsfrom the same domain are separated fromeach other to match the random contentstructure of an actual CSCS exam. Therefore, Practice Exam question numbers listedon the Self Scoring/Reference sheets willNOT be in the same numerical order asthe actual Practice Exam questions. Todetermine your scores in the six domainsand for both sections of the Practice Exam,

Sheet (page 27) and copy an "A" underthe column heading YOUR ANSWER.This question is now grouped in theExercise Science domain of the

Scientific Foundations section of thePractice Exam.

    2) Compare your responses to those listedin the CORRECT ANSWER columnand place a checkmark next to theincorrect answers.

    3) Determine your domain scores:-Count the number of correct answers

for each domain; and-Record the totals on the Self Scoring/Reference sheets on the Total

Correct row that follow each groupof domain questions.
