CURRICULUM & LEADERSHIP STUDIES M.S. TEACHING, LEARNING & LEADERSHIP Oklahoma State University offers a Master of Science in Teaching, Learning and Leadership with an option in Curriculum and Leadership Studies. The degree is available on the OSU - Stillwater and OSU - Tulsa campuses. The Curriculum and Leadership Studies degree option is designed to prepare students to assume leadership roles in schools, colleges and other educational institutions. Students may go on to serve in cultural, social and educational settings as teacher and curriculum leaders, administrators, curriculum coordinators, professional development specialists and researchers. While specialization is required, maximum program flexibility enables students to meet their individual goals by addressing the following: w What does it mean to educate and to be educated? w What is the relationship between learning and teaching? w How do power relationships influence curriculum? w What are the dynamics of curriculum theory and educational practice? w What are the meanings of diversity, mindfulness and nonviolence in school settings? Oklahoma State University offers a Master of Science in Teaching, Learning and Leadership with an option in Curriculum and Leadership Studies. The degree is available on the OSU - Stillwater and OSU - Tulsa campuses.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSIn addition to the general requirements for admission to the Oklahoma State University Graduate College, the Master of Science in Teaching, Learning and Leadership requires:

w Undergraduate degree in education orrelated field (3.0 GPA)

w Resume/Vitaw Typewritten statement of goals consistent

with mission of graduate degree programand degree program option

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit application materials at least six weeks prior to the start of the semester.

An applicant’s file will be reviewed when all materials have been received by the OSU Graduate College and students will be notified of the admission decision with 4-6 weeks. Students must complete and submit the following:

1. Graduate College Application

2. Program Application Materials
