PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE RECORD

2014 – present: Consultant with ISC Consulting Engineers Screening and Conseptual Study for DONG Oil Pipe to identify the main interfaces between the crude oil terminal in Fredericia, Denmark and the Shell Refinery and make recommendations as to how the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the crude oil terminal can be carried out by a new O&M operator in the future. The work includes identification of potential new O&M operators, recommendations as to how O&M can be organised in the future as well as introduction of risk based inspection and integrity analysis, etc. The report describes different solutions and pros and cons as well as cost estimates CAPEX for the different technical solutions among others new control room, new service buildings, gas turbines, steam boilers, new access roads, various piping and pumps, etc. The report gives an overall time line with important milestones for the transition. The report also describes lessons learned with the present O&M operator Shell Refinery so learnings can be implemented in the new service agreement. The report also includes SWOT, Stakeholder and Risk Analysis.

Surface Safety Valve using German Work-over Rig • Snubbing-in/out 1.350 m 4½” Flooding String in Cavern To-8 with Halliburton Snubbing Rig • Preparatory works for re-leaching and re-completing next Gas Cavern To-9 2011: Responsible for updating Energinet Engineering Manual 2012: Responsible for production, inspection and delivery of 96 km 30” Line Pipe according to EN 10208-2 Grade L485MB at Borusan Mannesmann Izmit Plant Turkey including 45 pcs. 30” hot bends from Bends & Welds Chez Republic for Ellund-Egtved Pipeline Project. The Line Pipe was delivered to 41 different Pipe Storages along the pipeline route in Southern Jutland. 2012: Responsible for re-routing of approximately 2 kilometer 12” Gas Transmissions Pipeline close to Silkeborg. The work was carried out at the expense of the Danish Road Authority Vejdirektoratet in order to give way for the new Highway from Herning to Århus. The Scope of Work also included a new line valve station and a supply line to Silkeborg Combined Heat &Power Plant. The Project included flaring of 50.000 m³ natural gas and 8 tie-ins all done within 24 hours. The Project was carried out in close cooperation with regional gas distribution company HMN Naturgas.

2013: Project Manager for re-routing of Energinets 30” Gas Transmission Pipeline on 4 different locations on Zealand due to a new railroad going from Copenhagen to Ringsted. The job is done using T.D. Williamson Stopple-operation, Hottapping and by-pass. The Project is carried out in close cooperation with regional gas distribution company HMN Naturgas. The project is ongoing.

August 1996 – March 2004: Project Manager with Dansk Olie & Naturgas A/S (DONG)

• Barrow Offshore Wind Farm UK (BOW) consisting of 30 off 3 MW Offshore Wind Turbine Generators in the Irish Sea. Position: Time & Cost Controller.

• Seconded to the Statoil Refinery in Kalundborg for 8 months during DONG’s take over of

the operation of the Siri offshore installation located in the Danish part of the North Sea. Position: Maintenance Manager. Duties: Topside inspection, sub sea inspection, Risk Based Inspection (RBI), maintenance of the SAL tanker loading system (APL), recertification of PSV’s, maintenance of water injection pumps and gas reinjection compressors, various mechanical jobs, piping and structural jobs, painting contracts, passive fire protection and hook-up of new wells on Nini.

• Deputy Project Manager on DK-UK Interconnector Project involving conceptual studies and

planning of a new 30” offshore gas pipeline from the Tyra field to the east coast of UK including shore approach and beach landfall and a new receiving terminal in UK. Negotiations with Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) and gas terminal owners and operators in Bacton, Thedlethorpe, Easington and Dimlington and various owners and operators of offshore installations and gas pipelines in the North Sea among others Centrica, Transco, Shell, Conoco, Phillips, TotalFinaElf, BP Amoco, Amerada Hess, BG, Statoil, BP, Ruhrgas and NAM.

• Project Manager for the capacity increase phase 7 of the Danish crude oil transportation

system from 330,000 to 360,000 barrels per day including an integrity analysis, HAZOP and a pressure surge analysis of the whole crude oil transportation system consisting of Gorm E offshore booster pumps, 330 km 20” pipeline, onshore booster pumps in Filsø, 13 onshore line valve stations, storage tanks and process equipment on the receiving terminal in Fredericia and the connecting jetty system in Fredericia Harbour.

• Purchase and installation of DONG’s first wind turbine VESTAS V66-1.65 MW in Nybro

including collection of knowledge about wind energy on behalf of DONG Management. Arranging management meetings with key players within wind energy industry among others NEG Micon, Vestas, Bonus, Nordex, DNV, SEAS, Risø Wind Energy Department, Tech-Wise, project developers, Danmarks Vindmølleforening and other. Scouting for new Wind Energy Projects in Denmark and abroad. DONG’s first representative on Overgaard where DONG later on acquired a Wind Farm.

• Close follow-up on the operation and maintenance of DONGs first wind turbine in Nybro

for one year including preparation of management reports.

• Capacity studies for DONG Olierør A/S crude oil pipeline system locating bottle necks and restrictions in the pipeline system and giving recommendations on how to upgrade the pipeline system in the future. Position: Project Manager.

• Acting as DONG representative in the development and technology group for Faeroes

Partnership White Zone Prospects. Participating in meetings with partners (LASMO, Norsk Hydro and Amerada Hess), preparation of cost calculations (Questor 2000 Offshore), CAPEX, OPEX and conceptual studies

• Project Manager for DONG Olierør A/S during capacity increase phase 6 of the Danish

crude oil transportation system from 270,000 to 330,000 barrels per day.

• Project Manager for DONG Olierør A/S with the responsibility of designing a new pipeline from Fredericia Terminal to a new offshore loading facility in Lillebælt. The pipeline was not built but the project forced the operator to lower the tariffs 50% for using the existing jetty-system in Fredericia Harbour.

• Responsible for manufacturing surveillance and delivery of 310 km 24” pipeline for the

South Arne – Nybro Offshore Gas Pipeline. Regular visits to the manufactures: British Steel Hartlepool UK, BPCL Leith Scotland, BPN Farsund Norway, Dillingen Hüttenwercke Germany and Europipe Dunkirk France.

• Responsible for giving a one-week project management course for the White Russian oil and

gas management in Minsk 1997.

Project manager on numerous projects for DONG Naturgas A/S, i.e.:

• New gas metering station on Amager Fælled Copenhagen and a new 2.5 km 12” gas pipeline for Sundby Gasværk, Copenhagen
