Databases

• DiDDD (2005-2009; NWO-funded). The data in DiDDD (Diversity in Dutch DP Design; https://www.nwo.nl/en/research-and-results/research-projects/i/18/718.html) were collected between 2005 and 2009 with oral and written interviews in about 200 locations in the Dutch language area, with a methodology highly parallel to DynaSAND. The data involve translations of and judgements on test sentences. The DIDDD data cover the morphosyntactic variation within nominal groups, in particular possessives, partitives, noun ellipsis, the demonstrative system, the numeral modification system, what-for constructions, quantitative er, adjectival inflection, negation and exclamatives. DiDDD is part of MIMORE (http://www.meertens.knaw.nl/mimore/) (Research group: Norbert Corver, Marjo van Koppen, Huib Kranendonk, Jan-Pieter Kunst)

• DADDI (2012-2017; NWO-FWO-funded) The data in DADDI (Database of Dutch Dialect Idioms) were collected between 2012 and 2017, as part of the project The Syntax of Idioms (Utrecht university & Leuven university). The database contains well over 7,000 idioms collected from dictionaries, grammars, and idioticons of 13 dialects spoken in the Netherlands and Flanders. A second part of the data comes from structured interviews with native speakers of Dutch dialects. Over 13,000 individual judgments of idiom constructions in dialects have been collected and are now stored in the database. (http://languagelink.let.uu.nl/idioms/index-nl.php) (research group: Norbert Corver, Jeroen van Craenenbroeck, Eefje Boef, Kristel Doreleijers, William Harwood, Marko Hladnik, Sterre Leufkens, Tanja Temmerman).
