Classes meet once a week for one hour for 10 weeks.
Monday Courses Course Name: Baton Twirling 1 Ages: K‐2nd Mondays 4‐5pm Instructor‐ Becky Morlan Our younger students will have fun as they participate in a unique art and sport while developing
coordination, concentration, timing and self‐con�idence. Beginner Twirlers will be introduced to basic baton Twirling skills in a high energy
and positive format. As a student progresses, more challenging material will be taught in order to expand on basic skills previously learned.

Course Name: Wearables and Costumes Art Course Ages: K ‐ 2nd Mondays 4‐5pm Art Studio Instructor‐ Rebecca Beaird Use your imagination to design costumes and other wearable works of art to your wildest dreams. We will explore capes, hats, masks, and
accessories to complete the look. This workshop will use basic techniques and recycled objects to make a complete out�it for your own
character. We will end with a fabulous fashion show!
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Course Name: Bookmaking 101 Art Course Ages: 3rd‐6th Mondays 5‐6pm Art Studio Instructor ‐ Rebecca Beaird Create, design, and publish your very own book. Have you ever gone to the library and thought, how was this book made? In Bookmaking
101, we will learn to make a variety of books, including accordion, boxes and zines, �illed with your own stories, art and collage. This ten
session workshop will explore how to �ill a story with illustrations, design a cover and then bind everything together using traditional and
more alternative methods. Then we will �inish the session with an exhibition.
Course Name: The Kids & Parents Yoga Class Yoga K‐6 th and Parents Mondays 5pm‐6pm Dance Studio Instructor ‐ Liz Graves The Kids & Parents Yoga enrichment class is a fun class that will seem more like playtime than exercise. We will take kids and parents through a series of yoga poses while trying to teach them to connect with themselves and others. Yoga can help increase �lexibility, reduce stress and anxiety, improve patience, and enhance creativity. Course Name: Beginning Piano Grades: 5th‐6th Mondays 4pm‐5pm Instructor ‐ Donald Macey Don Macey is one of the �inest jazz pianists in the CSRA and former piano instructor at Davidson Fine Arts School. In this course students will learn the fundamentals of playing the piano. Students will learn the beginnings of reading music, the names of notes and keys, scales, and learn to play beginner pieces.

This high energetic and upbeat class will have your student ready for any dance �loor. This award winning class has the perfect blend of the latest dance moves infused with music that this pop‐hip‐hop generation loves. Each student will gain professional experience through body isolation, rhythm, balance, choreography and dance moves that will wow any crowd. This class is perfect for beginner and/or intermediate dancers who want to further their love of dance or even pursue a dance career.

Course Name: Young Imaginations Art Studio Art Grades: 1st‐3rd Tuesdays 4pm‐5pm Instructor ‐ Mandy Berg In this course students’ will let their imaginations run wild while enhancing their creative thinking skills. Multiple art methods of drawing and painting will be utilized to promote divergent thinking while simultaneously learning about color theory, color mixing, and basic painting techniques. These young artists will see their original ideas turn into beautiful works of art.
Course Name: Brushstrokes Art Studio Art Grades: 4th‐6th Tuesdays 5pm‐6pm Instructor ‐ Mandy Berg In this course students will learn about different techniques of painting. They will learn about color theory, color mixing, and basic painting techniques. Students will learn these techniques through a unit study that will immerse each student in several world cultures. For example, students will learn about Sumi painting of Japan, Dreamtime dot painting of Australia, and mud painting from Africa.

On this after school journey, we will explore the exciting world of the theater. Starting with the fundamentals of
stagecraft, we will explore proper breathing, diction, character work, and scene study. Utilizing theater games and tongue
twisters, students will strengthen their “imagination muscle” while preparing for the language ahead.

Instructor ‐ Danielle Washam This enrichment course will aim to infuse gymnastics activities together with crafts, music, games, and outdoor play! Gymnastics helps develop coordination, balance, �lexibility, strength, self‐con�idence and discipline. We want to provide your son or daughter with a strong foundation in the beginning levels of gymnastics. We will work on some of the basic skills and move according to each child’s readiness. We will target balance and �lexibility and work towards other goals such as forward/backward rolls, cartwheels/round offs, handstands, bridge, backbends and kick overs, forward walkovers etc. If you are ready to FLIP your education, be sure to sign up for this class!

Thursday Courses Course Name: Studio Ballet 1 Dance Grades: K‐3rd Thursdays 4pm‐5pm Dance Studio Instructor ‐ Caroline Teagarden In this enrichment course students will be given the opportunity to express themselves through dance with an emphasis on the foundation of classical ballet. Dancers will be introduced to creative movement and basic ballet steps. They will be challenged through instruction that encourages age appropriate creativity, musicality, and physicality. This class will not only teach dancers the foundation and skills for beginning ballet but will also encourage a positive self‐image, self‐discipline, and self‐con�idence in the dancers.

Students will discover how to properly and effectively use their voice for group and solo singing. We will explore songs from a variety of styles including traditional, show tunes and pop. In addition to singing songs, students will learn to create accompaniments and alter keys and tempos to individualize arrangements. Come and explore the wonderful world of singing.
Course Name: Design Studio 1 Art Grades: K‐2nd Thursdays 4pm‐5pm Art Studio Instructor ‐ Angela Lowhorn Students will research the origins and components of a compass rose throughout history, paint a background and border, learn to choose a color palette from a photograph, paint and outline their compass rose, then research and add an appropriate quote to painting.

I have developed a martial arts program using a contemporary style with traditional values for children and adults. Skills work on discipline, respect, self‐control, self‐con�idence, self‐protection, all while still having fun! We will teach your children lessons that they will use for many years to come. Such as, respecting others, learning good manners, and learning how to control themselves in dif�icult situations, just to name a few. No matter what age, we customize each lesson plan to accommodate your needs. Growing up today youth and teens have many more outside pressures never imagined before. With social media, bullying, cliques and other outside in�luences, this program not only teaches values of the martial arts, but also relatable life skills
