MARGHERITA ROMAGNOLI’S RESUME INTERPRETER AND TRANSLATOR – FR, ES, RO > IT; LIS <> IT My name is Margherita Romagnoli and I was born in Bologna (Italy) on January 3rd 1987. You can contact me by phone [+39 328 2720382] or via e-‐mail [[email protected]].
I have been working as freelance translator since 2008. My language combination is FRENCH > ITALIAN, SPANISH > ITALIAN and ROMANIAN > ITALIAN. Since 2010 I am also a freelance interpreter, both liaison and conference interpreter, with the same language combination. I am mainly interested in the legal and medical-‐pharmaceutical fields. Since March 2013 I am a LIS (Italian Sign Language) interpreter for Deaf. I am currently working as Communication Assistant for Deaf children in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. From October 2010 to February 2011 I have been working as trainee for the European Commission, DG SCIC. I dealt with two projects (Speech Repository and Virtual Classes) aimed at conference interpreting students. During my studies, I taught Italian to foreign students, with private lessons (in Barcelona, in Bruxelles and in Romania) and with group lessons (at the ALCE language school in Bologna). I graduated in 2010 in Conference Interpreting (MA) at the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLMIT), University of Trieste. In 2008 I completed my BA in Applied Interlingustic Communication at SSLMIT, University of Bologna, Forlì. During the summer breaks of these university years, I attended several language courses, both in Finland (Jyväskylä University -‐ 2007 – and Kuopio University -‐ 2008) and in Romania (Universitatea Transilvania din Braşov -‐ 2010, Universitatea Babeş-‐Bolyai din Cluj-‐Napoca and Universitatea din Bucureşti -‐ 2011). I spent two semesters abroad, in 2006 in Barcelona for my Eramsus at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and in 2009 in Bruxelles thanks to a study exchange (CIUTI) at the ISTI (Institut Supérieur de Traducteurs et Interprètes). My knowledge of the working languages is attested not only by the long periods I have spent in the countries where they are spoken, but also by official certificates. In 2005 I obtained my bilingual Italian-French Dipolma at the “Luigi Galvani” high school of Bologna (level C2), in 2008 I passed the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) superior (level C2) and in 2011 the Bucharest University gave me a certificate of knowledge of Romanian (level C1). I also have a very good knowledge of the English language, as a result of the months of work and study both in Italy and abroad. I authorise the handling of my personal details (D.Lgs. 196/2003).
