The Board of Aldermen for the City of Dardenne Prairie, passed an ordinance on November 22, 2007, in response to the incident.

Children from all around the world, mainly between the ages of 10 and 18, have been cyber bullied.A bill for cyber bullying was introduced by Senator Joanne Verger.
