Create flowers on the hat by gluing on balls of

tissue paper.

For younger students, provide them with a word bank and attach the script below. For older students allow them to create their own mother writing. These

usually turn out hilarious, mothers always LOVE them!

The stencils can be printed on

cardstock, cut out, and used as a

stencil or

Print them directly on construction

paper and cut out.

Step 1 - Print and cut out hair, head, and hat. Draw on face.

Step 2 – Glue head onto hair.

Step 3 – Decorate hat, glue onto head, and attach writing.

Mother’s Hat:- May be ANY color, get creative, these can be fun!

Mother’s Head- This should be used with flesh toned construction paper. Faces may be drawn on. Encourage students to make them look like their mom, glasses, freckles, etc.

Mother’s Hair- To be used with “hair” colored construction paper.

May also be cut for short hair
