Who is Dancing 4 Kids?
”Dancing4Kids”(D4K) is an international team that helps children in need
around the world raising funds through artistic events and promoting
intercultural understanding through dance.
Our Mission:
"Promoting Intercultural Understanding through Dance, Music and Art for the
support of children in need around the world”
Who We Are:
Dancing 4 Kids (D4K), originally named Dancing 4 Aids Orphans (D4AO),
was founded by a world-renowned ballet dancer, Lynne Charles, in 2007.
Having enjoyed an illustrious career as an international ballerina, Lynne
Charles decided to offer her talents to promote cultural and artistic exchange
worldwide for charitable purposes.
Since its inception, D4K has been providing talented artists from all over the
world the chance to join together to stage outstanding dance events. These
valuable opportunities for cultural exchange have been contributing to the
promotion of intercultural exchange as well as developing a better world for
us all.
Proceeds from our events are significantly helping children in need around
the world and successfully enriching their lives. With people everywhere in
desperate need of assistance, and millions of innocent children suffering, our
work will never end. “Every child deserves the chance to live, so help us to
help them.”

Our Image & Values ::::
D4K is a small, but dynamic, culturally diverse group of talented and caring
individuals located in different countries around the world. Thinking out of
the box enables us to:
- Implement the best means to meet the needs of children globally as well
as the organizations that support them
- Improve children’s lives and aim to end their suffering
- Promote the appreciation of culture and arts using dance as
our primary vehicle
Our Friendship with Patrick Chamusso & The Two Sisters organisation
Through our fundraising activities to date, as well as the kind support especially of
South African Airlines, Benetton and JICA, Dancing 4 Kids was able to visit the “humble
hero of South Africa” Patrick Chamusso and his Two Sisters organization in White River,
South Africa in February 2008. So who is Patrick Chamusso?
• He is a man who received the prestigious Ubuntu hum anitarian award by
the National Heritage Council of South Africa in 20 08
• Whose life has been made into a feature length Holl ywood movie.
• Been a close friend & confidant to Nelson Mandela f or many years.
• Been called a “South African hero” for his role in the fight against
apartheid rule.
• And who now runs an orphanage for over 200 children that have been
orphaned by AIDS/HIV in the hills of the Mpumalanga province in
northeastern, South Africa.
Patrick calls himself "an ordinary man" but after seeing the movie that was

made about him called “Catch a Fire” and then meeting him in person with
his 200 children, we could see that from a simple person come the greatest
of personal attributes - strength, compassion, love, unselfishness, caring -
just to name a few. The same goes to all the wonderful people who
graciously volunteer their services to help the children of the Two Sisters,
and to all those throughout the world who simply care. We thank Patrick and
the Board of the Two Sisters for kindly letting us visit the orphanage and for
enabling our visit to become a true life-changing experience. After meeting
him and his amazing children we have decided as a group to dedicate most
of our efforts towards helping him and the Two Sisters. We do this though our
fundraising events, our campaigns and collaborations with talented artists,
corporations and prominent individuals. Our work focuses on providing
awareness to the public about the devastating problems in South Africa, and
all of those who support our efforts will be helping the children of the Two
Sisters for years to come.
You can find out more about the Two Sisters on: www.twosisters.org.za
Since 2009 have become the official representative of Two
Sisters in Japan.
We also support orphanages in Japan through collabo rations

Hanayo:
Bio:
Birthdate: 2/19
Birthplace: Japan
Sun Sign: Pisces
Languages: Japanese/English
Special Skills: Japanese Traditional Dance
With a father who is Japanese and a mother who is American, Hanayo naturally learned both
English and Japanese at the same time. Her father being a musician, she was brought up in a
musical environment, which led her interest in singing. She was involved in many musical
activities in many areas and genres in high school and in college, and later when she was back
in Tokyo, started to be involved with projects with her father and friends, including the release of
“Water Song,” a collaboration with Dr. Masaru Emoto, which is released both in Japan and the
U.S. (http://www.hado.net/). Her lyrics and her soothing angelic voice envelopes many listeners.
Last year, her voice was heard by S.E.N.S. (Sound Earth Nature Spirit), an Instrumental
Japanese top artist in the healing genre, who believed that she could be trusted to put lyrics to
their music. With the back up from S.E.N.S. Company, it was decided that she will put lyrics to
their songs. S.E.N.S.’s song, “Remembering Me” was used in the Korean Drama, “Beautiful
Days,” which became very popular in Japan. Therefore the new song “I’m Remembering Me”
www.Dancing4Kids.ning.com Copyright 2008
15
was born with Hanayo’ s Lyrics. In March of 2005, she marked her debut from the label United
Asia Entertainment, coupled by “This Forbidden Love” another hit Drama song of S.E.N.S. This
could happen because she has the ability to keep the magnificence of an instrumental sound,
and to bring “Life” into the song with her voice. Her lyrics which are mostly in English, expresses
love and many spiritual aspects, where the listener can hear her purpose to spread the notion of
oneness in light, without boarders.
Danniel Petersen III:
A 6 years old South African prodigy has been playing the drums since the age of 18 months. He
has performed on Freedom Day 2008 for the President of the Republic of South Africa -

travelled to New Orleans in October 2008 where he performed at various functions and
celebrations to standing ovations of the audience. He also appeared in studio on CNBC
Television Channel 4 in the USA. He was also granted the title of a Tourism Ambassador
by Cape Town Routes Unlimited (The body responsible to market the Western Cape as a tourist
destination) and has played in front of about 100 000 people at the end of November last year for
