● Change language package● There are 2 language packages:

●Italian English French Spanish.●English Norwegian Danish Finnish German.

1. Enter with ftp communication with command prompt.

2. Chose the directory where are presents the language package files.

3. Send command “put language file name.lpk”.

4. When the file is uploaded send the command “bye”.

●How to recover password● If Password is changed or modified is not possible to recover it,

but it will be possible to reset the DCM and restart with the Default Password and configuration.

● Push the front panel Reset button for 30’’. The LED will switch Off/On.

● Be careful because this procedure reset all the parameters and configuration of DCM.

● Make a Back-up of the configuration file during the first set-up and every time is made a new configuration.

● If username was changed, uploading back-up configuration file it will be uploaded also the username present in this file. If the username is forgotten is possible read the username inside the configuration file as text file, whilst password will be default passwords “schneider”.

● How to recover TCP/IP address1. Connect serial cable between DCM and PC.

2. Start communication with software as HyperTerminal.

3. Set up communication parameter: 9600/8/none/1/none.

4. Insert Username and Password.

5. Send “tcpip” command and the software will show DCM configuration with all the Ethernet parameters recorded inside the products.

● Configuration Back-up - file config.ini1. Open PC Command prompt.

2. Chose the Directory where the configuration file will be saved.

3. Open DCM ftp communication.

4. Command “get config.ini”.

5. Configuration file will be saved in the Directory chosen in step 2.

6. Save the configuration file in case of reset of DCM.

7. Back-up the configuration file every time the configuration is changed.

1. Enter in DCM Web Server.

2. Menu “Administrator”.

3. Menu “General”.

4. Choose the back-up configuration file “config.ini” in the PC.

● Change configuration file with back-up file - file config.ini● ftp communication

1. Enter PC command prompt.

2. Chose the directory where is present the back-up configuration file “config.ini”.

3. Digit ftp “ip address” (DCM Ip Address).

4. User name and password.

5. Send “put config.ini” command.

6. The back-up file will be up-load in the DCM.

7. If the DCM has been resetted also with username and password, with the back-up configuration file the username will be recovered whilst the Password will be the Default password “schneider”.

● Firmware update● There are 2 installation files File 1.bin and File 2.bin.

● Is necessary to upgrade before file 1 and after file 2.

1. Enter with ftp communication with command prompt.

2. Chose the directory where are presents the firmware files updated.

3. Send command “put File1.bin”.

4. When the file is uploaded send the command “bye”.

5. Repeat step 1.

6. Send command “put File 2.bin”.

7. When the file is uploaded send the command “bye”.
