THE CHALLENGE Reporting requirements for fraud, cyber incidents, and whistleblower and

physical security threats are mandated by several regulations, including

the Public Disclosure Act and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Many organizations

have developed incident response processes for business units or locations,

and these processes are often implemented manually and managed through

spreadsheets or homegrown solutions. As a result, valuable time and resources

are spent tracking incidents rather than resolving them.

When simple incidents turn into business interruptions or crisis events, they

have the potential to cause serious harm to your organization’s operations,

compliance capabilities, finances, and reputation. Companies must have a

central repository of real-time decision support tools that allow personnel

to react quickly and effectively when events occur that impact employees,

customers, operations, or brand reputation.

OVERVIEW RSA Archer® Incident Management provides case management and incident

response for reporting cyber and physical incidents, categorizing them, and

determining the appropriate response procedures. You can evaluate the criticality

of an incident and assign response team members based on business impact and

regulatory requirements. Incident Management provides a metrics dashboard for

tracking and reporting on costs, related incidents, loss and recovery.
