Inroduction:RSA Archer Egrc’s flexible Platform supports the ability to react dynamically to the data entered by the user and provides ease of use and configuration, extensibility and customization. It is graphical tool based so easy to learn and understand.

The search record feature in the tool is helpful in many ways: One can configure the appearance Select the fields to be displayed Select the sort order Select a format Specify the condition and perform filtering to get a specified value

You can navigate to the option as follows

Solution-> Application ->Operational link

Infosys Training - > Sandbox Nidhi - > search records

How to Proceed

1.0 Select Records from Search ResultsYou can select records by just clicking on the left side option which after selecting appears on the right side. One can select multiple records and it can be deleted as well after selecting by clicking on the cross

Output: Asset ID and Asset Status have been selected here as shown

2.0 Determine the Sort Order for Search ResultsNavigate to Search records -> sorting

Set values for field, order, grouping. Click on “search”

Select the appropriate field, order and enable the grouping as shown below and click on search to get the desired result:

Ascending:

Text A to Z Numeric smaller to larger Date old to new Null values are listed first in ascending sort

For descending it is vice versa

You can select multiple fields by clicking on Add New. Incase of multiple fields sorting of second field is done after the first row sorting and thereon as shown below :

Navigate to Search records -> sorting. . Click on “Add New”

Set values for field, order, and grouping.

Then Click on “search”

Below results screens should get displayed. Tracking ID fields appears as hyperlink. User can navigate to the record details by clicking the same link.

3.0 Filter Record from Search ResultsExpand the Filters tab and select the appropriate field to evaluate operator and the corresponding value.

Equals select values that exactly matches and contains select values that might be a part of it

Current includes records based on the current interval Last includes records previous to the current interval. For ex if you select

last 2 days it will contain interval previous to last 2 days Next include records after the current interval that means the current

interval records will not be included. Blank values are accepted for equal and not equal operator

For selecting multiple values click on Add New and select multiple rows. You can use multiple operators in Advanced operator such as AND, OR, NOT etc. In the Advanced Operator column you can select the condition as shown below:

Inorder to navigate we have to do the following:

Navigate to Search records -> filters

Set values for field to evaluate,operator,value(s). Click on “search”

For multiple fields Click on “Add New”.

Output: The result of the above fields selected based on the filter criteria specified.

4.0 Format Records in Search Results

When we expand the display options many formatting options appear as below:

1 Display format has the following options:

Column-hierarchical: displays the result with the related or referenced records in a grid underneath the higher level record.

Column-flat: displays field values in the search results in simple column layout Row: each row corresponds to each entry Summary: provides short definition along with the result Card : results are displayed card wise with each entry in card as per the record per

page and record count Calendar : it asks for the corresponding date for the result to display

2 Results per page is the no of results in each page

3 Record count is the no of records in each page

4 Heading have been checked and the corresponding result is shown as it displays the criteria and date

5 Expand all results will sow only result after selecting it as shown above by selecting the Tracking id

6 Enable inline edit works only for column-flat and column-hierarchical. It should be enabled by going to the corresponding field and checking on the option as shown below:

Output: As shown above the field selected i.e. Asset Name can be edited

7 By checking the statistics mode option we can select criteria for search. If multiple criteria is selected the first criteria is given the first preference and thereon.
