Data Validation List in Microsoft Excel

You may need a multiple choice drop-down list in Microsoft Excel.
First, create your list…
Then select the cells where you wish the drop down list to appear.
Go to the Data ribbon and select Data Validation…
…select List
In the Source, select your original list.
You can also add an Input Message
Now the original cells that you selected show an arrow to the right with drop down options, and an input message.
