Dear Parents,We had a wonderful turn out for our Chinese New Year and World Festival. It was great to have so many fami-lies enjoying the evening. The World Parade was wonderful. I loved how so many of our students’ countrieswere represented. A big thanks to our PTO, families, volunteers, and teachers.
The first week of March is our dreaded ISTEP testing. They haveworked hard all year to learn. This is just one test to measure theirknowledge. Please don’t stress out the kids. We had a Pep Rally to getthe students excited. Please make sure that students get enoughsleep, eat a good breakfast, and show up to school on time. We ap-preciate your support with this.
Out Talent and ArtShow will be heldThursday, March 10from 6:30-8. Please
join us and see all the great talent that we have here atCrooked Creek. Please join us Saturday, March 12 for theGreat North Run. We are aiming for 200 participants. This willhelp raise money for the school. We would love to have alarge group photo at the event. Come walk with Mrs. Black
and myself.

learning about the brain and behavior, neuroscience in the
classroom, and in particular energetic boys.
Join the energetic and engaging Dr. Lori as she discusses how brain
science can have a direct impact on student learning and performance.
She will share how her work is being incorporated in MSDWT classrooms
and empower us on how these strategies can carry over into life outside
of the classroom.
