I am very thankful to vice-ChairmanMr. K.C Katna and Manager Mr. G.k Bhatnager.Manystudents of D.A.V. are leading research scientists,professors, sports person, civil servants and entrepreneurs.Some are working in army, media etc. They all are busy withtheir profession and life. They may or may not be in touchwith each other or with their alma mater.I am sure thatalumni association through e-glance acme will provide amechanism for keeping in touch with each other, making newcontacts and friends both in personal and business level. Inaddition, it will keep them informed about the progress anddevelopment of their alma mater.Administration andteachers everywhere recognize important contributions thatparents make towards their child's success in school. One ofthe most important components of good school is thepartnership between the school and the parents who worktogether for the best interest of children, throughout theyear parents have the opportunity to develop thatpartnership.It's tremendously enjoyable to see theexcitement in the eyes of our students as they are activelyengaged in enriching activities. I encourage them to workhard in school, set goals for their life and stay focused onthose goals. Mr.Munish Arya, one of the prominent Arya Samajiblessed our students by chanting the Mantras,our Principal along with the staff in the Hawanaon 3rd April, 2014. He enlightened the studentsthat Hawana is the way to cleanse our body,mind and soul from all sins and through theHavana we worship Agni, the God of fire to keepour spirits high like Agni and we at DAV takepride in practising this Vedic culture for thebetterment of mankind . Taking into consideration, the above said, athree day 'book fair was organized at DAVAMBOTA .This book fair was a great successeach and every book was according to the taste ofstudent, from 1 to +2 standards. The childrenwere very excited about this fair. They visitedthe book fair along with their parents and grabthe opportunity as much as they can. The aim ofthis 'book fair' was not only to improve thereading skill or tastes of the students but also tomake them aware of themselves towards theirsurrounding by opening the window of vast bookworld. The scholastic group donated precious andknowledgeable books for the school library.

Leaders are the path showers of the society. We Ambotians believe thatleaders are not born instead they are made. An Investiture Ceremony took place tochoose the leaders of our school parliament. It was held on 19th May 2014. Thefollowing students were decorated with the satches and badges.

Myself Sahil Kumar, the student of 8 Aclass with my fellow beings had taken the topicof“Advancement of technology as well as thehazards of Pollution” in our life.Our motive ofthis model was to aware each and every peopleabout the environment, every use of technologyand effects of pollution. But we got extraknowledge about our model from the parents. Itwas very delightful day in my life that I got achance to explain my model in front of the welleducated people. I am very grateful to myschool for this participation.

in this fair with my family andmade a working model which show the “magnetic effectof electric current”. Luckily on that day there wasParents Teacher meeting on that day. So all theparents came to meet the teachers and they got anopportunity to attend the fair also. They saw our modeland discussed their views with us. They were impressedby our efforts and also appreciated.It was anunforgettable experience for us. I hope that our schoolwill organize such type of fairs every month.
