THOUGHTS FROM BRAD It sure was great having 64 to Grayson here last Sunday. Lookforward to other opportunities in the New Year to enjoy greatmusic on Sunday morning. Our next scheduled group will beElevate from Kentucky Christian University. They will be hereon Saturday, February 22nd in concert and will stay over andlead us in our morning worship on the 23 rd. We will have oneservice that day. More details to come later.

It is hard to believe that Christmas is just three days away. Ihope you have finished your final purchases and can just relaxnow and enjoy the day of celebration. As we prepare for thisprecious occasion, please plan to participate in this yearsChristmas Eve service. It begins Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

During the last week of December, I plan to spend some timewith my family for some much needed R & R. In my absence,Steve Seevers will preach at both services on the 29 thand JoeHoagland will preach during the PM worship that night.

As we approach the New Year, I ask that you begin praying forour theme that I hope will change all of our lives for good. Thetheme for 2014 will be: Unleashed for the Unreached. We willpreach about this, teach about this, talk about this, pray aboutthis and hopefully rejoice in victory because of this. It isestimated that over 4 billion people are on the path to Hell. Ipray we are not content to let that bounce off of us without anysort of resolve to do something about it?

As I wrote this article today, I came across some startlingstatistics in a recent Harris poll. Here are his findings:

74% of Americans believe in God (down 8%) fromrecent years.

72% of Americans believe in miracles (down 7%) fromrecent years.

68% of Americans believe in Heaven (down 7%) fromrecent years.

58% of Americans believe in the devil & Hell (down 4%)from recent years.

54% of Americans believe in absolute certainty thatthere is a God (down 12%) from recent years.

We truly are in a spiritual crisis in America. We Christians mustunleash ourselves, empowered by Gods Word & Spirit, onthose who need a Savior. Complacency, apathy, lethargycannot continue. May we be determined, now more than ever,to live on purpose for Christ in daily surrender to His Will.Weve a story to tell to the nations. Jesus Christ, who came asa baby, died on a cross as a man and resides now at the righthand of the throne of God as the Savior of the World. Godbecame flesh and dwelled among us. Wow!

    In His Service,

    Brad

    BITS FROM BRO. DAVE

However, will be available over the next several weeks folocal contact, etc. I do plan to return to mteaching of the Harmony Sunday School Clasat least temporarily. My return to Sundaevenings and midweek studies remainuncertain.

    of your life.

Be baptized (immersed) in water for theforgiveness of sins and to receive the Holy

    Spirit into your life.

To make this li fe decision for Chri st, we ask that you

come forward during our commitment song at the

conclusion of the Sunday message. Bapti zed believers

forward on Sunday morning or by seeing our Senior
