This course offers the opportunity for you to learn about the use of composite as a universal restorative. Our experts will guide you through anterior build ups using a variety of different opacities, the use of opaque composite for Class III’s and IV’s, how to tackle posterior restorations and building in translucency. Using FiltekTM Supreme XTE (one of the only materials on the market to be 100% nanofilled*), this hands on session will help you maximise your technique, achieve optimum aesthetics and also get practical hints and tips to achieve great results from the experts.

Dr Katharine Winstone qualified at Kings College Hospital Dental School in 1980 and after working as a House Officer, she then studied in the Department of Oral Pathology for PhD which was
awarded in 1986. Kate has developed her interests in Expert Witness Reporting as well as Aesthetic Composite Restorative work.

Jon qualified from Leeds Dental Hospital in 1992. After working at Farsley and continuing his training in Oral surgery, he then took a teaching position at Leeds Dental Hospital in 1997. Jon’s passion
is for cosmetic dentistry and expanding his knowledge in this field. Jon has a special interest in implant dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry and endodontic work. Jon ensures that all the latest techniques and materials are used and strives to maintain a high standard of dentistry.

Owen qualified from Belfast in 1986. He was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1993, his
Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995 and his Membership of General Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1996. He is currently an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Owen has a particular interest in crown and bridgework, implants and root canal therapy and he is the clinical director of the W7 referral polyclinic in Coleraine

endodontology. Most recently, he has completed a year-long course with Chris Orr for Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry.

Andy is joint principal of Twenty 2 Dental, a private general practice which he set up with his wife. He receives referrals for Aesthetic Restorative & Implant Dentistry and has been working with direct layering
composite materials to provide excellent, natural looking restorations for over 10 years.

Graeme LillywhiteBDS MFDS MSC MRD FDS (ReSt Dent) RCS eD.
Graeme Lillywhite is a Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the Edinburgh Dental Institute. Following a variety of hospital and general practice jobs he undertook
monospeciality training in Prosthodontics before going onto being trained and becoming a Consultant. In addition to be an active clinician he is an experienced and currently course director of the Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at the University of Edinburgh.
