UNIT 3 RURAL AND TRIBAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT – the Board revised the unit as,

(Primitive Tribal Groups), Tribal Research Institute , Vocational Training Center, TRIFED, Grant
in Aid Programme for welfare of ST to Voluntary Organisation.
The Board revised the sub- unit title in UNIT 4 URBAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Instead of 4.4URBAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT the sub title was introduced as
Disadvantaged Neighbourhood:
In 4.4.7 Urban Development Schemes the Board included the specific schemes as
PradhanMantriAwasYojna , National Urban Livelihood Mission, Credit Risk Guarantee Fund.
The Board made a detailed study n the Certificate Course titled YOUTH IN CYBER WORLD and
accepted the same with three credits.
The Board also accepted a New Course self study paper titled DISASTER MANAGEMENT FOR
SOCIALWORKERS. After discussion and deliberations the Board accepted the paper from this year.
With the view of employment the Block Placement of the II MSW students will be held in the month of
May after their IV semester exams. The Board accepted the same.
Based on the suggestions given by various stakeholders,courses which focused on skill
development,employability and entrepreneurship were introduced to make the students ready to be
effective employees or dynamic/smart employers.The details of these courses are given below
