• Communications to clients: On June 30, 2020, a separate letter for each contract will be mailed to clients affected by these fund changes. In addition, on

September 8, 2020, they will be sent a transaction confirmation (by mail or online in My Client Space). To view these transaction confirmations, refer to the

Business Tracker tool in the Advisor Centre.

• A personalized list of all your clients who have invested in one or more affected funds can be generated from June 30th, 2020, under Obtain your clients'

investment data in the Advisor Centre. It includes: client information, contract numbers, type of registration, type of investment, amount invested and fund

codes.

• Tax implications: For non-registered contracts, these changes will result in a taxable capital gain or loss. This gain or loss will be declared on your tax slips

(Federal: T3, Quebec: Relevé 16) issued for the 2020 income tax year. To learn more about the taxation of segregated funds, click here.

• Right to surrender without fees: If the client's investments were acquired per the deferred sales charge (DSC) method, they have the right to surrender

their investment without fees.
