Task 1: Fire- A deserted warehouse is on fire - The team has to leverage their super powers and problem solving skills to prioritise, delegate and save the day.




Island Development – Phase 2Task 1: FirePlayer options include: (in no particular order)- Search building for trapped victims- Rescue animals from an adjoining pet store- Move a petrol tanker parked nearby- Pulling down/ shooting open a nearby water tank to douse flames- Calling the Fire DepartmentUpon task completion, they each get a notecard and instructions to move on.



Task 2: Accident- 2 vehicles have collided on a busy intersection - A station wagon with a mom and kid, and the other, a sports car driven by a teen. All 3 are unconscious and petrol is leaking.


Island Development – Phase 2Task 2: AccidentPlayer options include (in no particular order)- Pull open vehicles to rescue trapped/unconscious victims- Clean the spill & clear the obstruction- Read minds of victims to ascertain fault (Mom was drinking and driving)- Inform the Police DepartmentUpon task completion, they each get a notecard and instructions to proceed to their workplaces.

• Not using technology for technology sake.– Need to ensure that T&L leads technology.

• Assessment on the effective use of technology.– How can we measure the effectiveness of

technology in T&L? • Affordability and scalability of technology in

Teaching & Learning– How can we sustain the use of technology in

T&L?
