our 125th Jubilee Year – namely

Homecoming Day. We welcome home so

many of our former parishioners and alumni

of OLPH Grammar School and High

School! We welcome the Redemptorist priests who grew up in OLPH, and those who served this parish! We welcome the

Sisters of St. Joseph who grew up in OLPH, and those who

taught in OLPH School! May your homecoming be not only

November 1, and is a Holy Day of

Arise – Together in Christ. The small Arise

communities have begun to meet. Please pray

the Arise prayer for God’s blessings on all who

On All Souls’ Day, November 2,

there will be a 7:30 PM bilingual

Mass for all our beloved deceased parishioners and family

members who died this year 2017. There are envelopes available to write the names of our beloved deceased.

Please place the envelopes in the collection. We will

remember our deceased family members and friends all

during the month of November.

On Friday evening there will be a Mass of Healing and of

Respect for Life at 7:30 PM in the lower church. All are

invited.

Month of the Rosary: The Knights of Columbus invite

all parishioners to join them praying the Rosary before

the statue of Our Lady of Fatima on the corner of 5th

Avenue and 60th Street every Monday at 7 PM. The

Daughters of Mary invite all parishioners to join them praying

the Rosary every Sunday at 11:15 AM in the upper church.

We are in need of Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of

Holy Communion. If you feel the Lord calling you to this

important ministry, or for more information, please call

Sister Lucille at the rectory about an upcoming workshop at

Bishop Kearney in December that you must attend.

Father Murray's course on St. Paul continues at 7 PM on

Thursday night in the rectory parlor and again on Friday at

Mes del Rosario: Los Caballeros de Colón invitan a todos al

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Academy of Brooklyn celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a special assembly. Students from grade Pre-K 3 to Grade 8 presented songs, poems and dances to celebrate the rich language, traditions, and cultures of many of our students. In addition students and families made donations which will be sent to aid the families of Puerto Rico who are still struggling after severe hurricanes hit their island. Our prayers are offered for all those who are still struggling from the effects Hurricane Harvey, and hurricanes that followed in it's wake.

The annual O.L.P.H. Catholic Academy of Brooklyn Halloween party was held on October 20th. Everyone had a great time participating in the Mummy Wrap, Halloween Arts and Crafts, dancing to the latest monster mashing hits, and of course daringly walking through the haunted house. Attending the party were quite a few super heroes, counts and countesses, a number of ghouls and even Elmo danced his way around. Thank you to all who came and supported our academy. Thanks to Ms. Francine and our Home Academy Association parents for all their hard work in making the party a howling good time..

El Consejo Hispano se reunirá el lunes, 6 de noviembre,

Semana pasada, 3,060 personas vinieron a OLPH para

la Celebración Eucarística. El total de colecta fue

$12,040.96. Gracias por su generosidad y apoyo a

La HORA SANTA ante el SANTISIMO

SACRAMENTO, se celebra el día Sábado, 4 de

Noviembre, de 2 a 3 PM. Iniciando con el Santo

Rosario por los enfermos a la 1:30 PM, aquí en la

Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, iglesia de

abajo. TODOS ESTAN INVITADOS!

La Academia Católica de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro

de Brooklyn celebró el Mes de la Herencia Hispana con una

asamblea especial. Los estudiantes del grado Pre K 3 al 8 ° grado

presentaron canciones, poemas y bailes para celebrar el rico

lenguaje, tradiciones y culturas de muchos de nuestros

estudiantes. Además, los estudiantes y las familias hicieron

donaciones que serán enviadas para ayudar a las familias de

Puerto Rico que todavía están luchando después de que severos

huracanes golpearan a la isla. Nuestras oraciones se ofrecen a

todos aquellos que aún luchan por los efectos del huracán Harvey

y los huracanes que siguieron a su paso.

La Fiesta Annual del Dia de Brujas (Halloween) de O.L.P.H.

Academia Católica de Brooklyn se celebró el 20 de Octubre.

Todos pasaron un buen rato participando en el Mummy Wrap,

Halloween arts and Crafts, bailando los últimos éxitos de

monstruos y, por supuesto, caminando atrevidamente a través de

la casa embrujada. Asistieron a la fiesta bastantes superhéroes,

condes y condesas, varios fantasmas e incluso Elmo bailo

alrededor. Gracias a todos los que vinieron y apoyaron nuestra

academia. Gracias a la Sra. Francine y a nuestros Padres de la

Asociación de la Academia del Hogar por todo su arduo trabajo

para hacer que la fiesta sea un buen momento.

4. 十月是特别敬礼圣母的玫瑰月。10月29号，我们堂区将

前往新泽西州的法蒂玛圣母大殿朝圣。票价是成人$30，

7:35am开始派发早餐，8：00am准时出发。下午五点返

回。请大家积极报名参加。
