Monica NaranjoMónica Naranjo is a singer songwriter who began singing from a very young age and was signed to Sony Music, where she recorded her debut album, Mónica Naranjo (released in 1994) which resulted in the hits songs; “Sola, Solo Se Vive Una Vez”, “El Amor Coloca” and “Oyeme”

Monica is incredibly experimental and has always pushed the envelope when it comes to her music and pop concerts. She is truly one of a kind and you’ll never see the same show twice. When Monica reinvents herself, it is an absolute and utter reinvention not solely of her music but also of her profile.

She has a fire in her voice that can rise to a feverish inferno belting out notes with fragility and strength and yet she manages to convey the softer moments with a tenderness that can astound you.

Curiosity and the sensations that causes the denial as spectator of not being able to see what you want to see.

This circuit of the Western parts of Mallorca begins at the coast before turning inland where you’ll drive through countryside, vineyards and olive groves before passing into the mountains to some amazing Mallorcan villages.

From Andratx take the C710 and follow the signs for Estellencs and Soller. The road will begin to climb and you’ll be following a road that twists and turns through pine woods. After approximatley 5km you catch the first glimpse of the beautiful Mediterranean where the road hugs the cliffs as you pass through 2 tunnels on the way to Estellencs.

If you fancy it, shortly before the second tunnel you can pull into the Mirador de Ricardo Roca and climb the steps to the look out point which will give you spectacular views.

Estellencs is a pretty village with stone houses and cobbled streets and is

a typical Mallorcan village. There is a great path that

leads you through orange groves down to a small cove with a shingle beach.

Once back in the car you need to continue on the C710 for about another 7 km until

you see the circular watch tower of

Torres de Ses Animes on your left.

A short way past the watch

tower there is a scenic parking area where you can take some amazing pictures of the terraces and stone walls of the fields out side Banyalbufar.

There are some lovely restaurants on this route where you can stop off for lunch and enjoy typical Mallorcan cuisine.

Leave the village of Banyalbufar behind and continue on the C710 turning left to Soller, don’t turn off head towards Palma, and follow the signs to Esporles.

Once again you’ll drive through beautiful countryside dotted with olive, almond, orange and lemon groves. This pretty little village is quite small and has a few bars and restaurants, as well as an excellent local market on a Saturday where the whole village turns out to see what`s on offer.
