My Advertisement PosterEvery advertisement poster needs to include an image so that the audience are able to see who the artist is. I have chosen the artist to be central focus and front cover so all the attention is on him. I have edited the photo in Photoshop and multiplied the photo so I have an effect at it. I chose a black and white image to show sophistication and it contrasts against any other colour I use.

I have chosen to emphasis a simple numbered date so that the audience know when the album is available to buy. I have chosen the red colour font so that it stands pout and red is a colour which is commonly used in rock/pop bands/artists.

I choose to include star ratings to show profession and opinions from professional workers. They ensure the audience how well the album is.

Including my productions help the audience or intrigued artist and their business to know who created the music and if they would like to use it for their next hit.

“Available on ITunes” allows the viewers to search or listen to the album another way. This can benefit the makers as there might be viewers which will only be able to access ITunes.

The website is shown at the bottom because it would be the last thing they’d look at and the website leads the audience to more information. Therefore this is beneficial because the audience will access the website which increases the artists publicity.

My Digipak

This side of the Digipak is filled with singular images and field images to let the audience who and where this was film. It shows a bit of nature as well as portraiture. I have added different shots, with and without the mask and the artist standing in a landscape. I done this so the audience can connect with the different sides of the music video.

I have involved 2 song lyrics in the digipak so that the audience is able to have a bit of fun learning as well as connecting to the song. The lyrics also fill in some spare gaps. The font is red so it goes along with the theme as well as standing out to the viewers against the background.

The background image is from the music video itself. I think this looks effective as it is partly in focus. The red song title fits in with the theme and stands out against the back and white photo. I’ve involved a QR code so that the audience is able to access the website or any links attached to the album.

This image is the front cover of my album. I have chosen this because the album was created by this artist therefore he should be the main focus.

I choose a simple background across the digipak so that the album doesn’t look over busy or complicated. I took this image by using a panorama effect so that I wouldn’t have to stretch and distort the image quality. I think this image fits as the pathway fits perfectly in line with the CD area therefore it’s a lead in line to the CD.

I didn’t want to over complicate the CD by using too many portraiture photos. Although the CD is about my artist, I thought the landscape images looked professional and gave the album a different effect.

To create my digipak I used a software called Photoshop. This allowed me to alter any photo and placement of words also it gave me a verity of effects. I was able to link photos

together to create collages and layer photos and words over the top of other photos.

Page 5: Digipak and Poster Analysis

• Firstly, I selected a template from Google and started to create my front cover. • Secondly, I created a panorama by camera and pasted it onto the template and

decreased the opacity. • Thirdly, I created a collage of images in another editing window and added the effect

black and white and increased the contrast. I selected the collage and pasted it into the template.

• Last of all, I added in lyrics and song titles on the back and inside of my digipak and selected a certain font and colour so it will stand out. I also added in QR codes and scan codes to make my digipak realistic.

Steps to creating my front cover 1. Uploaded my image and dragged it to my template. 2. Download different fonts to use on my template.3. Download it to Photoshop and select it in font types.

To create my poster I used a software called Photoshop. This allowed me to alter my poster with placement of words and composition. I used the same photo as my digipak therefore

there is some relation between the two. I was able to link photos together to create collages and layer photos and words over the top of other photos. I’ve made it into a polaroid effect so

that the audience are able to see the writing and for it to stand out.

• Firstly, I select the front cover to my poster and I’ve positioned it as a polaroid. • Secondly, I have insert logos and my production logos onto my poster by copying and

pasting. • I added music rates from companies so that the audience are able to go by what critics

think and what their reviews are. • Fourthly, I have shown a date which my album will come out and to attract an audience

I’ve shown certain songs that have had the “biggest hit”. • Last of all, I placed the album name ‘JACK’ onto the image.
