We, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College (Autonomous) in association
with Deputy Tahasildar, Elections, chandragiri revenue are committed to
address the situation of poor percentage of electoral registrations in our
institution who attained 18 years of age as on 1.1.19.
Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation
(SVEEP) is a multi-intervention programme that reaches out through
different modes and media to educate citizens, electors and voters about the
electoral process in order to increase their awareness and participation.
SVEEP is designed according to the socio-economic, cultural and demographic
profile of the state as well as history of electoral participation in previous
rounds of elections and learning thereof.
An awareness talk on 07 Feb 2019 was inaugurated at the hands of
our Principal & Chairman NSS, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College,
Dr. P.C.Krishnamachary at 3.00 PM in Civil Department Seminar Hall, SVEC
campus.

CHANDRAGIRI REVENUE was the speaker of the day accompanied by the
Revenue Inspector Mr.Prasad and staff from MRO Office, Chandragiri.
150 students from all branches of Engineering of Sree Vidynaikethan
engineering college and 10 members of faculty attended this event.

Their flagship initiative titled “SVEEP” Systematic Voters’ Education and
Electoral Participation explains the purpose and objective of the Program.
NSS Volunteer explaining about filling Form 6 Online in ECI website
At the outset, the speaker of the day emphasized on the importance of
the VOTE and enlightened about the voters registration process offline.
Secondly he gave opportunity to NSS Volunteers to present the procedure
of Form 6 filling through online via ECI website.
DT Elections , along with BLO and RI clarifying the doubts and receiving the
offline applications at the venue.
The programme ended with an aim to register the fresh voters and also
procedures to follow in case of any corrections through Form 8A and clarified the
doubts of students.

We, NSS UNIT & Women’s Grievance Cell of Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering
College (Autonomous) in association with MAHILA RAKSHAK TEAM, Tirupati are
committed to address the situation of CYBER CRIME.
Cyber Crime has become the challenging issue for the society, many people
especially adolescents are mostly affected by this. MAHILA RAKSHAK team of
Tirupati Urban Police Station, Tirupati, joined hands with NSS UNIT of Sree
Vidyanikethan Engineering College to overcome the issues presently facing by
the Adoscelent boys by conducting awareness Talk.

Mrs.P.Rani , SI of Special forces(MAHILA RAKSHAK TEAM) along with her team
has given presentation on the issues that are alarming in the society and
enlightened youth to beware and conscious about dealing and identifying with
Fake Calls, Fake Customer Cares, Strange Messages from national and
international wide.
Also, the beneficiaries were given the tips and suggestions towards dealing with
strange people connected through social media.
