Optimal cooling due to dual circuit water cooling

The spare parts of the torch head are cooled indepen- dently and very effectively. The cooling medium flows through the entire length of the welding torch neck in several concentric channels and the contact tip and gas nozzle are cooled in parallel.

Long service life due to improved heat dissipation

Consequently large amounts of heat are drawn away allowing the 305 to be used at high welding currents and at a long duty cycle.

Gas reduction thanks to laminar gas routing

A further benefit of the design, as with all DINSE welding torches, is the separate shield gas hose in the torch set which feeds direct to the head. This significantly reduces gas loss and saves cost.

Convenient handling due to reduced weight

The newly developed gas nozzle is significantly lighter than a cooling jacket reducing the weight and reducing the strain on the welder. The user can manoeuvre the hose better and with less effort.

Kink protection by means of modern cover hoses

The DINSE cover hoses are constantly being further developed in terms of ruggedness and flexibility. The newest generation is extremely resistant to abrasion and weld spatter and does not kink easily whilst maintaining flexibility to manoeuvre the torch. This is important in achieving a consistent flow of shield gas and cooling medium as well as accurate and precise wire feeding.

Cost-effective stock-keeping thanks to standardization

For the 305, the number of spare parts has been reduced to contact tips, gas diffuser and gas nozzles. This minimizes both work interruptions and storage space.

A high duty-cycle and maximum productivity are extremely important

factors when considering the design and manufacture of welding tools,

so the water-cooled MIG/MAG torch set 305 is a good choice.
