Spatial focus synergy: architecture and disaster

Our architectural organism won’t be conceived without a proper bioclimatic treatment, aiming towards protection and sustainability to various natural dangers that our geographical location could expose us to, that which will be achieved by an architectural solution that answers to this specific demand.

In this project, the objective was to make the structure stand out as a living part of the architectural composition, not leaving it only as a support element, but that it interacts with the organism. With a functionality, it would serve not only as a base and «skeleton», but also as a means of expression of the building.

The guidelines for efficient coordination and communication spaces, has served as a basic concept for the creation of this building. Hexagon, ellipse and curved planes make up the formal vocabulary of the composition. These three elements come together achieving a volumetric light and resistant.

The intersection of opposing curved planes that s (hover over the ellipse and are repeated concave, embracing the two main elevations thus achieving a smooth and organic structure.

Special care in the envelope so that it serves as a regulator of entry: iluminaciór and natural ventilation at specific points of the body.

The curved planes, create a central atrium, dividing the building: social and service area, which reinforces the basic concept of the body; attachment to the functional-ity of the interior spaces. In addition to a volumetric dominated by the horizontal, general concept of the buildings that make up the whole project urbanistico.

The contrast of regular and organic forms define the overall massing. The plant generates about rectangular figures leaning on the front elevation, as a way to counteract the solar incidence in the windows.

-The modulation of the volumes in linear sequence suitable for the role to develop.

-Surround curved planes generated without the division wall-roof, forming one body.

-Propulsion of the structure.

-Separation of activities dedicated center modulo social work rnodulos office and to the sides.

The need to create an axial shaft to the project as a whole, leads to the design of a gate-way that serves as a link buildings. Accentuating the horizontal initial concept and raised as well, separating the public activities of those reserved to the staff of the institution.

As a composition, it is repeated at different heights curved modules that serve as lateral envelope embracing the slabs arranged horizontally. Regarding the structure is based on two inclined arches intercession and intertwined, in matched pairs are repeated in the lon-gitudinal axis of the runway.
