Welcome to KELTRAC, where we offer specialized training in a variety of

innovative disciplines; Tool & Die Making, Manufacturing Technology and

Tool Design.

The courses offered at KELTRAC are developed in response to industry

needs pertaining to existing niche areas of engineering, sophisticated tooling

and machining. One of the prime segments of the manufacturing industry is

the tooling sector. The old concept of the tool maker has given way to the hi-

tech tool & die maker who uses the CAD/CAM software in CNC machines to

produce good quality complicated tools and dies consistently in a fraction of

time taken in olden times. Only technocrats can use these modern

techniques.

KELTRAC aims to create modern Tool & Die Makers adept in the use of the

CAD/CAM and the hi-tech CNC multi-axis machines to produce cutting edge

tools. Ateam of dedicated faculty, the best available infrastructure facility and

a sound industry institute ambience makes KELTRAC a unique experience.

The aim of this booklet is to introduce you to KELTRAC, to give you an

overview of the courses offered, to outline what you could be studying, and

how and why you should seek admission to the courses. We are all

committed to providing you with the skills which will enable you to excel in

your chosen profession.

I am happy to invite you to be a part of KELTRAC's innovative disciplined

academic program and to become an excellent technocrat committed to the

industry and society at large.

Mechanical Engineering has been undergoing radical changes in the recent years. Tooling / Manufacturing / Automobile

Industries are being forced to reduce the lead time in design and manufacture of new products to meet the global challenge. In

order to remain in business they have to not only adapt the latest technology in Design and Manufacturing and Production

techniques but also reduce the Quality Cost .ATool Designer has to play the Key Role here. The Tool Designer has to provide the

Product Design Drawing / 3D Model of the Products to be made for which he has to master Drafting / Modelling / Manufacturing,

Tool production processes etc. This Course is ideal for Diploma / Degree Holders in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Tool &

Die Making etc.
