On behalf of Disport, we would like to welcome all competitors, staff and spectators to the Disport Junior Athletics 2010—South Yorkshire Qualifying event. We are delighted to be able to utilize the facilities at the Don Valley Stadium for this prestigious event and our thanks are extended to all involved for their support of this event.

Today’s event has been jointly coordinated by staff from Disport and students on the Sport and Leisure Management Master Course at The University of Sheffield. The students have been involved in all aspects of the event organization, including fund-raising, supporting volunteer, catering. We thank the University for their continued support.

We would also like to thanks our sponsors Nationawide and NPower, as well as the special suppliers of the South Yorkshire Qualifying edition Wang Ting, China Red, Sheffield Steelers and Ratherham United Football Club, for their fully commitment with our event.
