ApplicationsThe series 8146/5 BreakerPanelboards provide a switching sys-tem and short circuit protection forfeeder and branch circuits to controleither resistive or inductive loads.Applications would be heating, lighting, heat tracing and motor circuits in refineries, chemical andpetrochemical plants and otherprocess industries. They are avail-able with or without MainDisconnect. To provide adequateshort circuit protection, properlysized Class J fuses must be installedin the circuit upstream for protection of the Main Disconnect Switch.
Springloaded - hinged window flaps allow easyviewing and quick access to breakers withoutopening the enclosure.
Individual breakers and the window flaps canbe padlocked.
