Divine Renovation – Maintenance to Mission Parishioners who attended the day in Stockport have been invited to a day at Holy Trinity Brompton London led by Fr James Mallon (the author of D.R.). It is on Wednesday 9th May and begins at 9.00 am. Fr James will help us to develop Divine Renovation in St Maximilian Kolbe parish, would any parishioner who is interested in attending please speak with Fr Peter. Alpha Course—Date for your Diary Please keep Saturday 26th May free as a day at St. Edward’s to introduce Alpha, led by Michael Roche, Catholic development worker for Alpha UK. Local Pastoral Area Lenten Station Meetings This year as part of our preparation for the Eucharistic Pilgrimage in Liverpool during September we will have a series of talks from our clergy based on the book; “ With Burning Hearts – A Meditation on the Eucharistic Life” by Henri Nouwen, followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. There will of course be tea and coffee afterwards so that the LPA can continue to grow as a Catholic community through sharing time and support for each other. The LPA Celebration of Sacramental Reconciliation will be at St Luke’s on TUESDAY 27th March at 7.00 pm The Parish Pastoral Council needs your help! In the weeks leading up to the Sacred Triduum the Parish Pastoral Council has been able: with the help of parishioners, to post leaflets through letter boxes throughout the area, inviting residents to join us for the Sacred Triduum Liturgy. As a result some people have come to church to celebrate with us. You will find a list of street names at the back of the church, if you would like to deliver some of the leaflets, even if you only have time to cover one street: please sign your name against the street/streets of your choice. Ideally the leaflets need to be delivered by Monday 26th March 2018. The Parish Pastoral Council would like to take this opportunity to thank you for giving up your time to support us, in ensuring that everyone in the area is reminded of the true meaning of Easter.
