The Sacred Triduum The most important Liturgy of the Catholic Church spans three days and the Church invites all Catholics to be present for the Great Feast! Divine Renovation Maintenance to Mission Parishioners who attended the day in Stockport have been invited to a day at Holy Trinity Brompton London led by Fr James Mallon (the author of D.R.). It is on Wednesday 9th May and begins at 9.00 am. Fr James will help us to develop Divine Renovation in St Maximilian Kolbe parish, would any parishioner who is interested in attending please speak with Fr Peter. Local Pastoral Area Lenten Station Meetings This year as part of our preparation for the Eucharistic Pilgrimage in Liverpool during September we will have a series of talks from our clergy based on the book; “ With Burning Hearts A Meditation on the Eucharistic Life” by Henri Nouwen, followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. There will of course be tea and coffee afterwards so that the LPA can continue to grow as a Catholic community through sharing time and support for each other. The LPA Celebration of Sacramental Reconciliation will be at St Luke’s on TUESDAY 27th March at 7.00 pm The Parish Pastoral Council needs your help! Fair Trade Stall Fair Trade Goods will be on sale after 9am Mass at Holy Spirit this weekend.

Easter Labyrinth St. Edward’s Church will be open between 2pm and 4pm today, Sunday 25th March. Please come and walk the labyrinth, reflecting on the Passion of the Lord.

Services at St. Edward’s School this week Parishioners will be very welcome at Stations of the Cross at St. Edward’s School on Wednesday 28th March, at 11:30am or 1:30pm. Also at the Easter Service at 2pm on Thursday 29th March.

Easter Church Cleaning—Thursday 29th March 9:30am If you could spare one or two hours to clean the church for Easter, please come along. Your help will be most appreciated. Thank you.

CTR Good Friday Service The Good Friday Service organised by Churches Together in Runcorn (CTR) will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Halton at 11am on Friday 30th March.

Painted Easter Egg Competition Please start to work on painted eggs showing the Easter Scene or Church Life etc. A competition will be held across the Parish which will be judged on Easter Sunday!

Quiz Night—Friday 20th April at Holy Spirit Tickets priced £3 for adults and £1 for children, including scouse, please bring your own liquid refreshments. Doors open 7pm, quiz starts 7:30pm. Volunteers are required to help set up, and prepare the food—please see Clare Williams, Chris Kennedy or Chris Williams if you can help.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes This year marks the 160th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady to Bernadette in Lourdes. The Diocesan Pilgrimage will take place from 26 July-3 August overland and 27 July-2 August by air. Brochures and booking forms can be downloaded from the Pilgrimage Website www.shrewsburypilgrimage.co.uk or from the Pilgrimage Office: St Alban's, 30 Mill Lane, Wallasey, CH44 5UD. This year flight seats are limited so early booking is recommended.
