wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just

isolates you from him.

of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion,

kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline.

1. How you treat people.

Romans 12:9-10 (NIV)9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is

evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly

love. Honor one another above yourselves.

2. Ho you handle what you know (or think you know).

Colossians 3:12-14 (NIV)12 Therefore, as God's chosen people,

holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion,

kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Lord forgave you.

3. How you look at the world.

1 Timothy 6:10-12 (NIV)10 For the love of money is a root of all

kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with

many griefs.

1 Timothy 6:10-12 (NIV)11 But you, man of God, flee from all

this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and

gentleness.

1 Timothy 6:10-12 (NIV)12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which

you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as

Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you

have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

James 4:6-7 (NIV)6 But he gives us more grace. That is

why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the

humble." 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will

flee from you.
