-History and Information-

• Its name is Dolambahaçe Palace.• It´s located in Istanbul, Turkey.• The palace was built between the years 1843 and

1856.• It was built under the order of the Empire's 31st

sultan, Sultan Abdülmecid. It served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1853 to 1922.

• It represents the home for sultans until 1924.
