Perfect to use Cel-Fi
• One bar of 3G or LTE signal somewhere within the building => at least -104 dBm RSCP in UMTS or -120 dBm RSRP in LTE
AND• Bad coverage in big areas of the building (one or no bars/no
service ) => signal levels are poor throughout the building , with levels in -90 to -120 dBm RSCP, -100 to -130 dBm RSRP.

equipment

Where a professional installation is required
• More than one Cel-Fi system (systems in parallel or in series)• Very weak input signal and/or with high variations (may
require external antenna)• High interference (Ec/Io consistently over -14 dB) : may
require external antenna or careful selection of donor BTS. • High rise buildings: normally would have high interference• Difficult connectivity for the 5 GHz link (thick or metal walls,
like a boat, high interference in 5GHz, due i.e to a radar…). May require cable accessory to interconnect the units.
• Locations where there is an existing indoor system or donor is not the standard macro: DAS, Small Cells, DRS…
