Spectator Information

At all Spectator Areas, please park courteously and allow room for Emergency Vehicles to pass at any time.

SS1 & SS4 – Gale Rigg SS1 – 1st Car Due – 08:49 SS4 – 1st Car Due – 12:53 Entry to Forest Postcode; YO18 8HS MR; SE800963 What3Words; peachy.barstool.kilowatt Junction 15 From Pickering head north towards Newton-on-Rawcliffe for 4 miles and continue through the village, towards Stape. Keep right at the top of Stape bank and follow the road down the other side. Continue through Stape, down the hill, following the road round to left at the bottom. Continue up the hill, passing and entrance to the forest on the right. The road will wind down through a ford and then up onto the moor, passing over a cattle grid. Follow this for roughly 1 mile and the entrance to the forest is on the right hand side. The Spectator Area will be arrowed from here.

SS2 & SS5 – Cropton SS2 – 1st Car Due – 09:12 SS5 – 1st Car Due – 13:16 Entry to Forest Postcode; YO18 8EP MR; SE751908 What3Words; flamenco.certified.dentistry Junction 14 & Junction 15 From Pickering head west along the A170 towards Kirkbymoorside and turn right towards Wrelton. Continue through Wrelton to the village of Cropton. In Cropton follow the road round to the left and down Cropton Bank for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the forest is on the right hand side, signposted ‘Spiers House Caravan and Camping.’ The spectator point will be arrowed from here. SS3 & SS6 – Langdale No Spectators Due to a large Scouting event taking place in Langdale forest, no Spectators will be allowed in the Langdale complex. This will be enforced by marshals in the area and you will be turned away if you try to access the forest. Please respect this as failure to do so may jeopardise future use of the complex. Service Areas No Spectators Due to the large numbers of entries and in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Spectators will be not be allowed in the Service Area this year. Only vehicles with a ‘Service Plate’ or rally cars will be allowed in the Service Area.
