DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD ANALYSIS For my double page spread, I decided to take each solo photo of my models because I wanted my images to look-like a street photography which is why, I wanted to focus more on fashion as K-POP singers are dressed up in a way which are hard to pull off by non-celebrities. As I was trying to make my photos look-like street style, throughout the whole shoot I was communicating with my models to make them feel relaxed and not too worked up since the whole point of these photos was to capture the individual’s unique fashion sense. I dressed my two models Rushali and Bini mostly in black because that particular colour is easy to style to make it look classy, casual yet chic at the same time. Also, I made sure both of them had a fashion statement for example, Rushali is wearing a light blue cardigan while Bini is wearing a white with grey blazer, a sliver chunky necklace and white socks. First I wanted to put these images like this on my double page spread on a white background however; I didn’t like how the images looked on a white background. Therefore, I decided to remove the background of the images by using the ‘Erase Tool’ and put it on top of a colour background.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD ANALYSIS

For my double page spread, I decided to take each solo photo of my models because I wanted my images to look-like a street photography which is why, I wanted to focus more on fashion as K-POP singers are dressed up in a way which are hard to pull off by non-celebrities.

Also, I decided to put the images bit far away from each other so that my audience could see the clothes of my models properly. As well as, if I had put the images together then, it would look cluttered and there would be a lot of empty spaces in the background.

Before After

As you can see after I positioned my images far apart, I was able to put at least 6 questions with 2 addition images at the right hand side corner. At first I had this font for my masthead however I changed it later into other font because I found the new font was more suitable and funky which matches the genre of music I was doing. I made my content an interview because I thought by doing an interview it helps to let the audience understand the difference between K-POP singers and American/British.
