1. Quality: check the overall quality

2. Subject: is the subject matter identifiable?
• identifiable center of interest

3. Content/Context: does the image tell a story?

4. Method: are editing techniques strong?

1. Harmony: create a sense of togetherness through “simultaneous combination of elements” by arranging different content, subject and methods and having it still be “eye-catching”
2. Variety: using a variety of elements and interests while avoiding clutter
