NURSERY SUMMER HOLIDAY COMPANION 2016
Dear Parents,
Summer vacations are the most appropriate time for the students to refresh and rejuvenate themselves. Children have ample
energy which needs to be channelized in the right direction to get the best out of them. Keeping this in mind, we have designed the
holiday homework ‘My Summer Companion’ to make them more observant and confident.
We firmly believe that children must develop love for books from a very young age. To open a world of discoverythis summer and to
inculcate the habit of reading among our little ones, we have included activities based on the story ‘The Very Hungry Catterpillar’ and
‘The Enormous Turnip’.
We have tried to make the work enjoyable keeping in mind their interest. Hope our little ones enjoy doing the same with their
respective families. Moms may want to add in more special activities like swimming, table tennis, art, dance, music etc to build those
fond memories.Train your child to become independent in his daily chores. So, go ahead, spend constructive, creative and useful time
with your child and have fun watching them take pride in their small accomplishments.
PS: Bring holiday homework in a neatly decorated and labelled
folder. Originality of the work will be appreciated.

independently. A colorful motivational
worksheet 8 is attached here for the
parent’s help. Parents can select any 1
week to do this on paper. Read the
