The magazineAn annual, 68-page, A5 magazine, packed full of useful information and expert advice covering a whole range of relevant motoring topics for the more mature driver. The magazine is written in a non-preachy style to engage with drivers aged 65 or more. The content will help the motorist maximise their driving enjoyment whilst helping to keep them safe on the roads and will fill the gap in the market that currently exists for the older driver. It's designed to inform, enthuse and excite, giving confidence to the reader to continue driving safely or to seek safer alternatives.

The content includes:■ Exclusive Sir Stirling Moss interview■ Refresher driving courses■ Getting the right insurance deal■ The Motability scheme■ Staying safe on the roads■ How medication affects driving■ Maintenance essentials■ How the Blue Badge scheme works■ Alternatives to driving

DriveOn engages with drivers aged 65+ in the UK. Because we have an ageing population, this group of drivers makes up an ever-increasing proportion of our road users.

Older drivers are a high-risk set of road

Target marketusers, second only to young drivers. We aim to reach out to them to help guide them on how to be as safe a driver as possible, while highlighting ways in which they can enjoy the freedom which driving offers.

Distribution Having canvassed road safety officers throughout the UK, whom we have worked with for over a decade, we know there's a big demand for this title. The magazine will, like some of our other titles, be bought in bulk and distributed by the road safety teams via channels where older drivers can be reached. This will be a combination of older driver courses, direct from opticians and doctors and at various different local events. 100,000 copies will be printed and distributed throughout the UK over a 12-month period. Over 50,000 copies have been pre-ordered.
