VISION AND OBJECTIVES
To Provide Value Added Services.
To Serve as Knowledge Hub of the College.
To Create Knowledge Enriched Citizen for Nation Building.
To provide access to anyone who has a thirst for knowledge.
To be all inclusive and cater to needs of the specially-abled.
Promote international and intercultural understanding.
Expand the volume and variety of cultural content on the Internet.
Provide resources for educators, scholars, and general audiences.
To collect, organize & collate print & digital information & disseminate at the point of care and for future use.
To provide seamless access to information .
To act as gateway to digital and electronic information .
To develop in to a single access point library.
To create and update a comprehensive database of Indian Literature in diverse fields
To develop and conduct tutorials for the users to enable them to effectively utilize the facilities and resources made available by the library.
With our President Dr. Akhtar Hasan Rizvi’s and
Director Advocate Rubina Akhtar Hasan Rizvi’s
direction the library saw a new dawn.
Understanding the importance of the library they
initiated the renovation of the library. It changed
from an old traditional library to 21st century
digital library. A beautiful well furnished library
has been set up with easy access to books and
periodicals. Twenty two computer access points
has been provided for accessing digital / electronic
resources and promoting research. Our Library
was inaugurated by Shri .Vinod Tawde, Minister
of Higher and Technical Education and Shri.
Ashish Shelar, Minister of School Education.
Many dignitaries graced the inaugural ceremony
and took special interest in our Digital Library.
RESOURCE CENTRE FOR SPECIALLY ABLEDTo give equal opportunity to the low vision and blind readers ,a special cell is made where
students have access to Clear reader machine and computer screen reader software .
SPECIAL FEATURES
* A Special cell for the
Differently Abled readers
has been created for giving
them easy access to
resources of the library.
*Clear Reader machine has
been installed, which reads
the scanned pages for the
visually impaired.
* Installation of JAWS and
NVDA screen readers for
low vision readers to use the
computers.
DIGITISATION
As part of the digital movement,
CZUR ET Smart Book Scanner
converts scanned documents
into PDF enabling us to build
our Digital Repository

WEB-OPACLibrary Management Software SLIM21 allows access to bibliographic database of our library,
through Web Opac , catalogue accessible through internet.
ANDROID KIOSKA kiosk is a small, free-standing physical structure that displays information via a touchscreen. Readers can access the Web- Opac and Library website through the kiosk.
INTERNET ACCESS Students have free internet access to E-resources for their educational activity.
22 internet points provided, for easy access.
AMERICAN CENTRE LIBRARYMembership to American Centre Library enables access to wide range of books ,
periodicals, DVDS and e-resources.
KINDLE READERKindle Reader allows access to wide variety of books as per the readers choice this
has helped us to introduce and encourage our students to e book reading culture.
