Flexible Silicone Drum Heaters Type HSSD

Flexible laminated silicone drum heater designed for use on standards 200ltr/40 gallon drums.

Designed to be utilised singularly or in multiple units up to a maximum of three which can be used to give quicker warm up times and high produce maintain temperatures.

The HSSD is specifically designed for the melting or reducing the viscosity of soaps, fats, varnishes and oil based type products. It can also be used in conjunction with the HBD base drum heater and insulation jackets to increase product heat up times and efficiently maintain temperatures.

Fitted with its own integral heat controller the unit can be left to control its own temperatures. Although monitoring of the drum contents temperature would be necessary for accurate control.

Drum heaters rated 1000 Watts.

Available for 110 Volts or 240 Volts.

Construction –

The construction is a PTFE insulated heating element laminated between two layers of glass reinforced silicone impregnated material.

The integral thermostat controls the surface temperature as apposed to the contents temperature.

The spring clip ensures a secure fit to the drum and the plates ensure a good earth contact is made.

Applications –

Wax, paints and varnish heating prior to transfer to production. Applications where drums are required to maintained or pre heated.

Drum Heater Type MC2000

A double skinned galvanised mild steel drum heater for use with standard 200 litres / 45 gallons capacity storage drum having two rolling rings.

Hinged construction with toggle fasteners.

Thermally insulated with 50mm thick mineral wool fibre insulation.

Variable temperatures control: 35°C - 210°CPower output: 2000W – 240V

2000W – 110V

Applications –

Used for applications where drums and containers are required to be maintained or pre heated. ExamplesOf this include wax, paints and varnish heating prior to its transfer to production.
