THE DYNAPAC MF2500CS MOBILE FEEDER features a high performance conveying system that can empty a truck in less than 35 seconds! What’s more, a removable swing-able conveyor makes this an unusually flexible and versatile machine. The only 2.55 m wide feeder on the market, the Dynapac MF2500CS is easy and cost-effective to transport, with no special permission needed. The machine is very operator friendly, has low operating costs and is highly reliable and servicefriendly.

HIGH PERFORMANCE & VERSATILITY QUALITY To achieve the best paving quality a constant paving speed is mandatory. The Dynapac feeder allows a contact free stopless paving process. The MF2500CS features a wide hopper in combination with the 1.2m wide conveyor belt, which results in a uniform material distribution. On top of this the Dynapac feeder can buffer a big load, which is essential for high paving quality.

COST OF OWNERSHIPOn average special application, which requires a SwingApp, is between 5-15% of the overall appli-cation. This is why the Dynapac feeder features a dismountable swing conveyor, so you do not have to use the swing conveyor on a standard feeding job. This gives longer life to the swing belt and also allows greater flexibility and saves on costs.

FEEDING PERFORMANCEThe core of the Dynapac MF2500CS is its high performance conveying system. With a feeding capacity of 4000 t/h it can transport 27 tonnes of gravel, sand or asphalt in just 35 seconds. The durable conveyor belt is directly mounted on a tightly arranged metal bracing. Then tension is automatically controlled making manual adjustment unnecessary and ensur-ing the lowest wear cost on the market. Operating contact free, the Dynapac MF2500CS feeder ensures an even material flow for different kinds of material.

HOMOGENEOUS MATERIAL FLOWThe 1200 mm wide conveyor belt has been designed for optimal flow andminimal segregation. The rounded cor-ners of the large conveyor offer smooth transport. Due to the width and speed of the conveyor the material stays hot during transport on the belt. Covers minimize the heat loss. The small number of con-tact and transfer ensure constant and a smooth material flow.Foldable hopper wings with front hop-per flaps enable a quick emptying of the hopper.Chamfered hopper corners prevent cold asphalt being left in the hopper.

SMOOTH WORK FLOW

LONG BELT LIFETIMEThe maintenance free hydraulic conveyor dive allows variable speeds up to 1.8 m/s. The 10mm thick rubber belt is mounted on braces. This eliminates temperature movement of the rubber as well as the need for tensioning during the feeding process. This innovative design of the conveyor ensures a long belt lifetime and low maintenance costs.

MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITYEquipped as standard with a short con-veyor, the MF2500CS mobile feeder can also work with an additional swingable conveyor mounted behind the short belt. It can be attached and removed quickly to be as flexible as necessary on the jobsite. No modifica-tion of the standard MF2500CS mobile feeder is required for this beneficial application tool.

The main advantage of attaching the swingable conveyor is that it enables the machine to feed two pavers. However, it can also be used for, e.g., bicycle lanes and road shoulders. When not required, the swingable conveyor can quickly be dismounted, which considerably prolongs the life-time of the belt and minimizes costs – an advantage no other feeder in the world can offer!

ERGONOMIC WORK PLACE

ALL AROUND VIEWThe operator has a full view of the hopper, conveyor and truck driver.The two swing-out seats allow the driver to sit variably up to a 90° angle to the driving direction and thus have an excellent view. The view is further enhanced by optional cameras and mirrors. Both seats can of course be individually adjusted for height and distance for a comfortable working place. The optional light signaling system allows the feeder user to communicate with the truck driver for an even more efficient unloading process.

ALWAYS ON TRACK The MF2500CS mobile feeder has an easy-to-learn and operator friendly dash-board. Operation is fully automated by steering, distance and feeding sensors. The optional steering device automatically guides the feeder. The conveyor belt sensors guarantee stressless feeding of the paver; the speed and distance are controlled. The operator can thus concentrate on the truck emptying process, while the ma-chine stays on course. This ensures the highest daily work capacity.The instrument panel can be repositioned anywhere across the platform and be pivoted by up to 90 degrees. This way the operator has everything under control from any position. Weather protection screens are available as an option, ensuring the highest comfort for the operator.

FULL CONTROLThe dashboard concept has been adapted from the Dynapac pavers: The dashboard is optimally arranged to function-groups and operation frequency. It features a 6.5” color display and for night work the buttons are illuminated.

COMMONALITY The modular design of the MF2500 with the SD-pavers has a large number of common parts. This significantly reduces the complexity and investment in stocks. Another effect of the modu-lar design is that training costs are reduced since main components such as theengine are common.

POWERFUL DRIVE CONCEPTThe Dynapac MF2500CS meets the new emission standards, featuring a Stage IIIB (Tier4i) Cummins QSB 6.7 C260 engine, which is also prepared for the final Stage IV (170 kW for the MF2500CS). The hydraulic drive system features thermostatic fan control for efficient cooling. Economic hydraulics on the feeder ensures great fuel efficiency.

MAIN VIEWFull control in one shot. The main view gives you an overview of the complete feeding process. All essential parame-ters in one glance. From here you moni-tor the feeding degree of the paver/hopper, conveyor speed, emulsion spray tank level and distance between the paver and feeder. Also featuring shortcuts in other menus.

MATERIAL FLOW SETTINGSFollowing the current parameters view, you can go into the settings for the conveyor, such as filling degree and conveyor belt speed for slow move-ment and auto control. From there you can save the value for the correspond-ing button on the dashboard.

SECOND OPERATOR Some functions of the Dynapac MF2500 can be performed via a sec-ond operator station on the ground, such as opening and closing the hop-per. A rain-protected laptop station with a 24V plug can also be found in this area.

LONG LASTING BELTThe rubber belt is directly mounted on metal braces, which elimates the temperature impact from the hot asphalt on the belt. No tensioning is necessary.

ADVANTAGES

Mobile feeders continue to gain importance in the road-paving process. Acting as a buffer between the paver and the supply truck, they assure an uninterrupted paving process. The MF2500 allows paving of large widths without any interruption, improving both the work schedule and the paving quality requirements.

OUTSTANDING HOMOGENEITYThe wide conveyor with a feeding capac-ity up to 4000 t/h ensures a homoge-neous material mix and a continuous material supply to the paver.The optional hopper insert for the paver enables large material storage up to 22 t, which ensures a constant head of mate-rial in front of the screed. This results in excellent mat quality.

IMPROVED EVENNESSThanks to the precise distance sen-sors of the MF2500-feeder generation for contact-free feeding process, a consistent material flow and a homoge-neous mix temperature is ensured. The homogeneous material flow ensures a consistent equilibrium of forces acting on the screed, leading to an even sur-face behind the screed.

EFFICIENCYStudies show that using a feeder can reduce paving significantly. The MF2500 with its high capacity convey-ing system, speeds up the paving pro-cess, since a truck can be emptied in 35 s. Due to the wide hopper and low dumping height of the MF2500, trucks can turn around more quickly.

CLEANINGThe MF2500 is equipped with a 90L emulsion tank, storing enough emul-sion to clean the machine and convey-or. For easy machine cleaning, hose connectors are installed at the rear and at the front of the machine. For convenient belt cleaning, the main and swing conveyors are equipped with an emulsion spray bar, which can be easily operated from the dashboard. This effectively prevents the adherence of bitumen.

EASY TRANSPORTATION Being the only 2.55 m feeder on the market, Dynapac’s mobile feeders combine easy and cost effective transport with impressive feeding capacity. A weight lower than 23t allows transport of the Dynapac MF2500CS without special permission on public roads. The plunger cylinders allow the front of the hopper to be raised for easy and convenient loading.

MF2500CL – THE PERFECT TEAM WITH DYNAPAC-COMPACTASPHALT(R)

The MF2500CL’s long and wide conveyor ensures even material flow for binder and wearing course material. With a maximum dumping height of 4.65 m and its long conveyor, both the front hopper and the upper hopper of the Compactasphalt module are filled. The platform is hydraulically liftable and the two different conveyor heights can be preset for comfortable and safe operation.

SERVICEABLILITYMaintenance costs for the MF2500CS are low, primarily due to the unique belt design and the easily attached and dismounted. The SwingApp will only be used when it is necessary, reducing wear on the swing conveyor. All service related points can be found, clearly arranged, behind a large maintenance flap. A simple visual inspection of filters and engine parts allows a quick start.
