z Early Years Network Facilitated by Michaela Ledsham - Early Years SLE all sessions will be held at Tuxford Academy 13:00pm Led by an experienced EYFS Praconer and Early Years SLE, TVTSA are offering 6 networks and 2 Early Excellence courses for colleagues to further develop their exisng knowledge and keep abreast of current issues within the EYFS. Over the 6 networks praconers will have the opportunity to showcase their learning environments, explore how to promote pupil engagement through natural resources and a forest schools approach to outdoor learning and more. Praconers will also be able to learn about how to support and enhance childrens resiliency levels via an interacve training session delivered by a CAMHS specialist. Our partnership with Early Excellence will further provide two topical courses during the autumn term, the themes for these training courses are Mark Making to Wring and Meaningful Maths. Our strategic partnership with Early Excellence ensures praconers can access a range of quality CPD within our locality. Session 1: Wednesday 3rd October 2018 Enabling environments and EYFS baseline outcomes Praconers are invited to share and discuss their indoor and outdoor environments Discussions relang to the baseline assessments of pupils looking specifically at vulnerable groups Session 2: Wednesday 5th December 2018 Wring sampling & parental engagement Sampling of independent wring along with exploring opportunies for mark making/wring Discussions will also be focused around engaging parents within their child's early learning Session 3: Wednesday 6th February 2019 Emoonal Resilience (facilitated by Heather Bradley CAMHS) Within this interacve workshop the group will be led through a variety of resources and strategies to support and enhance childrens resiliency levels Session 4: Wednesday 27th March 2019 Expressive Art & Design & Understanding of the World A praccal session using a range of resources and an insight into A forest schools approach to outdoor learning Session 5: Wednesday 15th May 2019 Early Learning Goal Exceedingjudgements What does Exceedinglook like? Session 6: Wednesday 10th July 2019 Excursions, Visitors & further opportunies to engage early learners.
