WHAT IS THE EARTH MADE OF?

LAYERS DONKEY! IT’S MADE OF LAYERS!

SO IF THE CORE IS LIQUID, ARE WE FLOATING?

• Yes, on large land masses called tectonic plates

• Let’s look at the orange

• The plates touch each other on their boundaries, and these are called faults

ORDER THE TECTONIC PLATE ON EARTH DAY

WE ARE LIKE ISLANDS IN THE SEA…

BUT, IT’S NOT MY FAULT!!

• There are three types of plate boundaries:

• Transform

• Divergent

• Convergent

• And there are three types of faults:

• Strike-Slip

• Normal

• Reverse

PLATES DON’T RESPECT BOUNDARIES
