Ways to save on college costs

Stay in NY- avoid out of state fees; can’t take NY aid Work on campus for a free room Stay local- commute Buy used books, rent books, borrow books Brown bag lunch Take a small meal plan & buy low cost food Limit expensive food, drinks and entertainment Participate in free college activities If you can’t afford a higher priced college right away,

go to a lower cost college first then transfer
