The Battle Plan of Prayer Led by Brenda Davis Room 177 Wednesday March 16 8 sessions 6:30 p.m. $13

The Battle Plan for Prayer Bible Study equips believers to develop their own prayer strategy. This study features teaching by Alex and Stephen Kendrick (producers of the movie War Room) on the topics of: what prayer is and is not, why God wants us to pray, specific areas of prayer, specific strategies for prayer, etc.

Join us for this six-session journey of healing, that will lead us through writing our stories (only to be read by you unless led by God to do otherwise), repenting where needed, and studying and applying the truth of God's word as we become broken no more.

More Than Pretty: Defining Beauty Through the Lens of Scripture Led by Deanna Conn Youth Game Room Wednesday April 27 6 sessions 6:30 p.m. $11

More Than Pretty is a six-session Bible study for teen girls that explores the definition of true beauty. Using our five natural senses, this resource will guide girls in exploring how to spiritually and practically develop multifaceted beauty that honors God. (This study is for teen girls but we are asking ladies to join this class to make connections with the girls. Students will participate in youth worship and then move to the game room for the study.)

But being a good dad doesn’t always come naturally. We need men who are willing to admit they haven’t figured it out and are prepared to do the work of learning how to lead and love their kids well. This study provides insights and Biblical truth that can carry you through the confusion and dark moments of fatherhood. In addition to key foundational truths, it gives dads an inspiring vision for grace-based parenting as well as how we can point our kids toward true greatness and set them up for extraordinary lives. It also equips dads with important distinctions in raising sons and daughters.

This group meets each week to have a time of Bible study, prayer, and to work on a mission project, such as the making of sleeping mats for the homeless using plastic garbage bags.

GriefShare Led by Elaine Hoskins Room 131 Wednesday March 9 13 sessions 6:30 p.m. $15

It hurts to lose someone. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. This study will help you apply Biblical principles to the healing process after the death of a loved one. Throughout the videos and workbook, participants see how the gospel brings hope and restoration.

Grace Filled Marriage Led by Jeff and Beverly Shaner Room 165 Thursday March 17 8 sessions 6:30 p.m. $12

Couples come to the altar bursting with love for each other. Yet, based on how many marriages are unfulfilling, unhappy, or worse yet, end in divorce, it would seem that the love that gets couples married is not enough to keep couples married. Maybe if we had the ability to love unconditionally, like God does, love would be enough…but we don't. Therefore, love falls short. Love isn't enough to save struggling marriages.
